While nowadays being mainly used in Asian cultures, it was used all over the world, some painting and engraving of the 8th century northern Europe do contain the symbol. Which is where "aryan" people are supposed to come from. My guess is that's where the angry painter got it from.

Historically, Korea has been one of the most influential independent countries in Asia. Therefore, in the past, Korea has fought and won against China, and Japan has given gifts as a servant. However, in world history, it is true that ancient Korea did not have much influence on the world, and after the Mongol Empire, Korea remained in a normal mid-sized country. Still, I expected to mention at least the Korean War. Because this is the first U.N. military intervention and the beginning of the Cold War.
@petitewhitegirl It was certainly one of the most influential countries until probably the 16th century. However, in the 18th and 19th centuries, Korea's influence disappeared. And that was the time of global events. Then, in the early 20th century, the country was completely gone. In summary, it was influential in the Middle Ages, but it lost its influence in modern period when the world influenced it, and began to appear in the Cold War.
