  • When you come from a country with highly regulated and controlled construction practices, you may be surprised to find that things are done a little differently in a developing nation. And especially in the outlying areas where inspectors and inspections are few to non existent! In this video series, I share the unique wiring scenarios I encountered when troubleshooting what should be simple electrical problems. The first video I investigate issues with a ceiling fan and discover that things are not as they should be! There are some important takeaways for DIYers.

    Hey Terry. Good video. It's fantastic that you stopped your vacation to help someone. But I would do the same thing. I really enjoy helping others out. WOW, that panel is a mess for sure. Confusing 😕 Good for you and thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁

    I've seen whites carrying voltage but never an entire panel before. Have to wonder if that original electrician was color blind. That's an interesting main too, never seen one separate from the panel in resi work before.
