for anyone who amazon has decided not to ship these to, you can achieve something better by going to bunnings or any garden ware shop buying a light weight garden trailer, putting a board on top of it and then bolting down a camp rite stretcher tent on top of it, you get a higher position and room under the tent to store stuff, just grab a few 500kg plastic car supports to act as adjustable stabilizers and you are golden.
Definetly cool idea! I would like to see a couple other things befor i would buy one. Mainly a better vestibule or awning to be able to chill under. A little taller too would be good so you can sit in it upright. But i love the idea.
Nice.. Can you tell me how you put the rain cover on when you are inside of the tent for extra warmth and rain protection..? A better design would have been to have a velcro closure you can use on the side, (accessible from the inside) instead of the elastic that you have to stretch over the unreachable, far end of the trailer..
Amazing video. We would like to show this video on our channel with your permission. We will add your link and your name will also be mentioned in the video. Let us know what you think
Is it rain-proof? Because the rain cover will be hard to put on when you're inside the tent-cot. Edit: I think I saw another video that shows an entry point on one side of the rain cover. Can you confirm?
The link to purchase in description below provides a picture to a different tent but similar...the pole for one don't go all the way down like in the link your seems better
Someone taken a standard tent cot by that I mean one tent that also have the cot build in , eg the one made for kamp right brand and add it to a trailer . It's neat but since there no cover for it when going down the road it's going to get wet in the rain and when you set it up I m guessing it's going to be at least damp inside it . If it was inside some type of box cover then this would be work.
@reviews and how to’s have you been in the rain or ran a water hose over this to see if it’s really water resistant / waterproof? That would be some good information. Thank you.
Hi there, I'm having issues in putting this together, the nuts, don't seem to fit the bolts, what size of bolts did you get? I've tried to watch the set up video, but the guy sits far away from the camera, so you can't see it being assembled properly
Merci. Georges From Fr
I've seen tents like that on u tube but not as a bike trailer is it a conversion kit or does it come as is were could I get one an what's the price thank you
This is complete as you see it and there is a link in the description for more details but the price was almost 400 dollars. Check the link for the actual price.
@@ReviewsandHowTos01 thanks for the reply. Hopefully they do loosen over time because it is veryyyyy difficult to remove them after putting them in right now.
The bike camper is off the ground, much better sleep experience. remember those nights sleeping on rocky ground and muddy ground. I take the camper. Maybe can use it as a trailer to drag around my gears.
I don't know where you were seeing $500 for one, but I got mine on eBay. They are advertising at 390 shipped or best offer. They accepted my first offer of 358, you might be able to do better. Note that I am NOT shilling for this tent or any particular eBay seller, things have been unexpectedly busy and I haven't even taken it out of the box yet. First impressions so far, both good and bad. It is heavier than I would ideally like. It's about 50 lb. But it does advertise that it is built so you can carry around an extra 50 lb of gear as well. There are pros and cons to carrying everything in your backpack with a lighter tent, or just putting your loaded backpack strapped on to this trailer along with things you might not ordinarily take with you to save weight like a larger stove, a larger battery for gadgets, extra food or even a fairly sizable solar panel. I have another completely different bike trailer that I have loaded up to about 70 lb and even though it was noticeable, it was considerably easier to use than I thought. I am thinking that in general towing up to 100 lb might work out okay. From what I've seen it looks like there is only one company selling this bike camper because the limited pictures and videos I've seen of it are all the same. So while it sucks there don't seem to be any long-term reviews of this out there yet, at least from this review and what little feedback I've seen elsewhere it does appear to be a solid well made unit out of the box. I like that there is an option like this at all and I hope mine holds up when I get a chance to try it. I've seen other bike camper options but this is the only one I've seen that conveniently folds up like this for a low profile, and it seems to be the lightest weight option out there. Thank you for posting this review. Please share any updates as you use it, thanks! (How well has it been holding up, has it kept you dry if you've been caught in any serious rain, etc)
@@MichaelSTaylor You can make one yourself a DIY for approximately $150 but if you like overpaying or dont have skills in making your own thing then it's all good.

Very cool idea.
Thanks for showing it to us. 👍
Wish these were still available, it's exactly what I have been looking for.
Keep checking back I am sure they will come back in stock.

I just saw one on Amazon for like $350

i can prolly put an arctic air in there & keep cool n the summer
So, basically a Kamp-Rite with wheels. I hope they have solved the interior condensation issues (though it looks like they haven't).
How has it survived over the past year? Or have you not used it much?
Thanks! This is a perfect product
Maybe alittle cheaper then building a camper
I was surprised how comfortable it was to lay inside.
Looks just like my plain Jane trailer except a tent is attached to the frame
too bad it's wider than long when folded. but it was probably the easiest considering the foldable legs
Very nice bike camp trailer. Website says currently unavailable. I suspect some Chinese company will see this huge opportunity on a good idea. Thanks.
I want one im in the UK
How much is it and where can you find it

I could not see a door in the fly sheet how does that work?
Can you get into the tent with the fly sheet on? Please 👍
The inner doors are the fly screens and they zip up. The outer door is solid and blocks water. So you have the choice of screen only or both.
@@ReviewsandHowTos01 that doesn't answer my question but I can see the fly sheet don't have doors !!!!!
Are your tent poles super hard to put in and take out? I got this yesterday and I’m finding it is very hard to put them in and take them out.
The ones on top were stiff but manageable. I am sure they will loosen some with use.

What is the product name?
It's not available the new one says holding only 250 lds. I'm 300
You have missed attaching the straps to the legs as it pulls down the ends
...or just buy a 5 person tent which will be cheaper, lighter, takes up less space and much larger once put up.
This is for a certain niche for sure.
Not much room for gear and hanging out....can't even sit in there if it's raining....wouldn't want to spend a thunderstorm in a coffin.
How much and were can i order??? Someone in the commentes said this is not avable anymore???
It comes and goes. When it is in stock it isn't for very long.
Not available. I need one please
I do not directly work for the company but I am sure they will be back in stock soon.

Hey, I live in the UK. I wish I could buy from here.

Thanks for reviewing
@@tsg633 Hello, we will have it available on UK in Feb 2023.
Super!!!Price?
It was originally around 380 dollars I think. Currently this is not available
Rain fly should be unzippable to remain on the tent during rain and allow in and out access. Looks too small for a six foot person and their gear.
I fit fine but it will get crowded with a backpack and or gear inside.
I’d love this but I can’t afford £400 for a tent with wheels and a bike attached sadly
Cool idea but 500 bux ? No...
Because a 50 dollar pop up tent is no different ...they just do not have wheels to drag it around.
The bike camper is off the ground, much better sleep experience. remember those nights sleeping on rocky ground and muddy ground. I take the camper. Maybe can use it as a trailer to drag around my gears.
A 50 dollar pop up tent will not keep you dry in a storm they are poor
It looks so cheap. I’m pretty sure it will break after getting in it at least 3 or 4 times.
It is actually sturdy.
Well , this is great but whats the sence if you cant get them ? HMMMMM ?
They are supposed to come back in stock they seem to sell out fast.
Thats NOT a camper. That is a Kamp Rite/ King Camp etc tent cot. Its been modded to have wheels on one end instead of 4 legs is all.
OK still a camper

El remolque cuando está cerrado puede transportar todo su equipo de campamento. Así que es viable si te gusta acampar en bicicleta.
Less mess, it can haul stuff and has a smaller footprint. I see quite a few advantages for people who bike tour.
Not worth $500. Sorry
It is nice and comfortable plus it doubles as a gear trailer however it is not for all and there are cheaper ways to camp for sure.
