Would buy this great car. If I needed it!! Had A 'boring sounding' non turbo 122BHP Cooper Countryman 1.6, since 2014. Best car I ever had. Never any issues, very reliable, drives like a dream each and every day. Always change the engine oil+ oil filter + air filter every 8000 miles and get tires with more side wall, instead of the run flats. this car will bring you joy and happiness. The 2 main issues that cause the problems for mini drivers are they just do not understand that as an owner every month or 2 mouths always check your engine oil level and water level and top up as required. if you don't!1...don't complain why or when things start smoking!!

Quite strange , My old 1.6 N/A could make 136hp.
My guessing is the engine is completely tuned for efficiency over all other metrics , Turbo is there to add more torque I guess.

Not expensive cars (I don't speak about luxury cars like rolls Royce or Ferrari) with petrol engine is shit (more shit only electric cars). Only diesel cars is good.

Diesel is for tractors and trucks.

@@Seba03111976 by the way, why the tractors and tracks use only diesel? - Because gas engine is so shit, their consumption with load is very high, and their reliability worse... Good cars use only diesel. New c200d has near 5 liters on 160 km/h, gas shit engine can show such numbers?! NO! With 66 fuel tank c200d has 1320 kilometers in one tank on the 160 km/h! Nothing another type of engine has such price and characteristics. Top three type cars (from better to worse):
      1) diesel
      2) gas
      3) electric.

@@point4894 Some people do just 10000-15000 km per year, keep the car 5-7 years, so they barely reach 100000 km. Any petrol engine lasts that much. And they prefer the sound, to rev the petrol engine, the fun of driving it and don't give a shit on higher loads or infinite range.

@@Seba03111976 sound of diesel engine not worse, fun of driving more. One reason why everything cars has not diesel - from 1 barrel of oil get ~102 liters of petrol and 30 liters of diesel. Petrol must be sold

If anything, smaller cars make more sense to have a petrol engine than a diesel engine. On short journeys in urban environments, where small cars are favoured, diesels do not see any of the benefits they claim to have, such as better cruising economy and more low-down power, because you never really get to a cruise in environments where traffic levels are high and with constantly changing speed, nor does it matter about the extra low down power when shorter gears are being used almost all the time. That, and diesels generally are less reliable when used on short harsh journeys due to the nature of the fuel producing more particulate matter and greater amounts of highly toxic gases (not great to be spewing in urban environments really) and having diesel particulate filters (although this could become a problem with modern petrol engines, albeit too a much less extent as diesel fuel produces much more) getting clogged up. If you do 30000km+ a year, perhaps 20000km+ for some, then a diesel does make sense, both financially and due to ease of use. If you do less, it doesn't make sense. There is no "rule of thumb" as to which fuel is better, as it is entirely dependent on a person's personal circumstance. Just because petrol may not suit you or your needs, does not make it objectively "shit", nor does it mean that it is incorrect for others to use it. The same applies to electric vehicles, which you'll be horrified to hear will become the norm within the next few years as the technology advances and it makes more sense for people both financially and from a practical standpoint.

Gas tank is small. Consumption is high. Shit car..
