    The KEY to LONG NATURAL HAIR is retaining length! One of the way You retain length is by not manipulating your hair all the time. So keeping your hair in a protective style for 1-2 months is great for your hair, (depending on the strength of your hair) . You still have to wash it and moisturize it.

    Recipe 1: Blend of rice water, 🍌 flesh, flaxseed, cornstarch, olive oil, coconut oil and a few drop of peppermint oil in the mix.
    Recipe 2: Blend of egg, banana peel, fresh avocado, mayonnaise, castor oil, honey, olive oil, few drops peppermint oil, few drops argan oil, aloe Vera juice and a little bit of fresh aloe gel. Apply to damp hair, seal it well with a shower cap, allow it to sit for an hour. My braid are now thicker
    1 leaf Aloe Vera goes a long way. Blend the pulp, freeze in ice cube tray then transfer to a ziplock bag. Keep in the freezer for future recipes.

      Just wash your hair in braids and let it air dry. Then when you go to detangle it's already stretched out and cuts detangle tone down by 90%. This was how I got my 4c hair to hip length.

    • @keekssss
      @keekssss 19 дней назад +2

      I have 3b tailbone length and I try my best not to let my hair get tangled, I dampen my hair and detangle it every 2-3 days before it starts to get crazy. I also finger detangle knots to avoid breakage. Use a tangle teaser. Stretch your hair or do twist outs. Always sleep in a braid(s). Dry your hair in a microfiber towel as much as possible to avoid frizz, I swear by it.

    • @twitterblackdove
      @twitterblackdove 7 дней назад

      Highly coiled hair that people know as "4C" shouldn't use water to detangle but oil and fingers not brushes. Then, after shampooing, detangling and stretching with fingers,and deep conditioning, a wide tooth comb can be used very carefully before styling. @keekssss
