program is very good !! but recuva can only restore the last deleted files from recycle bin,USB drives,memory cards...can not recover long-deleted items

FLV files will not start up in Winamp, VLC, Movie Maker, Vegas, nothing works with these vids. Even 90% of the pics which also said excellent state will not open. Go to the desktop and click on the Recycle bin. You will find all your data and all pictures that you deleted. double click on the Bin and selected the pictures or data that you want to recover, right click and selected restore all pictures and data you want.

If the pics are still on the computer but you can't boot the computer.... You could take your hard drive out, put it in an exteranl hard drive case and get the files that way.

yes it is possible while installing this program that you overwrite the file you are trying to recover, however it is such a small program, you would have to be very unlucky.

Maybe you had overwritten them already. If you lost them, then used your computer for a few days then they might be gone...You can get a pro to do it maybe.

unfortunately they sound like they are corrupted. Unless they are some wierd video format?

It is possible that the file is already damaged.
If you data is very important and you do not want to risk damaging it then contact the guys at recuva or take your hard drive to a pro recovery guy.
No..it only recovers files from hard drives and sd cards, not websites.

what you possibly have done is that you wrote over them... then they will be gone forever..
what you can try is to select "deep scan" this will take a lot longer but it is possible recuva© finds the files if you try it this way.. there are more programs that have this function..
if recuva fails i always find undelete a good one.. maybe this one will do the job

I would not use this program to recover system files. You really need to repair Windows with a Windows CD.
