I'm guessing she does not travel with a monitor engineer, given how inconsistent things seem to be for her shows. Sounds like you're familiar with the production side of things, so you probably know how hit-or-miss it can be with a house or sound company systems tech mixing monitors.

I've even seen a video of Kurt Cobain getting punched and swinging a guitar in retaliation over poor monitors. ETA: An audio engineer teacher of mine told me that headphones (and I assume that includes IEMs) will throw off a singers ability to sing on pitch because of signal relay latency but he was old in '02 lol
