When devs feel same pain as players since they actually play the game you shouldnt be mad at them. completely diffrent from that league of legends team.
Tbf league devs play the game as well. So to not use your own logic because of a weird bias is super strange. But I get it, easier to parrot league devs suck than it is to think logically how hard it is to balance a moba with endless characters and skill gap in player base. Most the people who hate on league devs don't know the first thing about development is the ironic part.
@@OldSchoolMindeddo tell though are you genuinely 100% having fun with league because of the way it is designed? i sure am not and i ain't even talking about balance mind you it's strictly about game design league features a plethora of decisions by the dev team that are straight up unfun to experience and can make one question whether or not devs even play their own game such as: lack of apparent counterplay to champion kits (i.e. zed yuumi yone ksante smolder etc) inability to properly coordinate with allies in a teamwork heavy game (i.e. lack of voice chat + "dear karthus please ult bot" incident) champ reworks that take away the fun from the existing playerbase (i.e. straight up deletion of old aatrox old asol old skarner from the game) and this list can go on and on and on and on and that's not even taking game balance into consideration lol; simply put tft is just a more fun gaming experience for an average than league and if you think otherwise you are either seriously tripping or just arguing in bad faith
@@OldSchoolMinded Ok but Mortdog is peak challenger while the LoL balance team has been infamous for having people who have never even hit Platinum. You spelled taliyah wrong :0 bouncy house taliyah the best champ and mechanic ever! I lost so much LP learning this comp 🥲 I climbed to diamond 1 tricking akshan then switched to taliyah and bombed my mmr,,, won once I learned it but it's too late I got f all LP for a win by then, and then 9.5 came and I was chasing 4 star heim every game 🤣🤣🤣
@@Saibotubby Omg the augment double trouble with the taliyah comp was one of the most fun i ever had with tft. You putting in every unit with a knockup twice and having a ton of synergy was amazing.

Such a shame because set 9 was actually goated. 9.5 was disastrous because entry patch = bilgewater(nilah) lottery and worlds meta was either TF legend w/multicasters or Urf legend with ToT. Very sad.
100% agree with you, what i didn't like about set 9 was that legends were a good idea on paper but didn't end up well, and the trait/emblem augments that made every lobby had 3 players with prismatic traits at least, rather than that, it was awsome, and then 9.5 arrived and i laughed everytime my team died to something that was not a champion, i remember damage charts were like MF in second place dealing 3k damage and in first some bullshit called Bilgewater (7) cannonballs dealing 15k+ damage, and people were just spamming that comp
Set 9.0 is my favorite set by far, but it still had some really bad patches. TF Aura items patch, Draven patch, Kai'Sa patch and Ezreal patch made me take breaks. I honestly don't think I'll enjoy TFT the same way again because of the removal of Urf. When Urf was mid-tier I played so much that I improved to 800 LP. My peak before was 0 LP, and since then I haven't even been able to reach diamond.
I almost made it into Masters 1tricking TF reroll the patch before the Multicasters patch, got hardstuck at D1 50LP after the patch because I was contested out the ass :(
That was fun because it was broken tbh, if you didn't play multicasters it wasn't really fun getting destroyed with no counterplay even if you had a very strong team. But the champs that were multicasters were pretty cool I agree.
I remember watching his live back then when multi patch was still op after 2 patches. Someone asked in chat why MC was still OP and proceeded to call them dumb and laugh how MC is not op at all.
Have you watched a single one of Mort's streams? He plays just about everything. Dunno if that's the same with the other devs as I don't know how they play, but at the least I can tell you that Mort doesn't do that.

The developers responsible for the multicaster patch have been sacked - Monty Python and The Teamfight Tactics
Multicaster was such a fun traid
The team redeemed themselves with set 10, I totally forgot about multi casters

multicasters may be back on next set ?

Wasn’t a great outcome.
