My first thought was to come here and say the same thing. But listening to it, I think it’s more accurate as they labelled it - yes, his version was a cover, but in a very different style to the original. And it is his version, not theirs, that they are actually referencing. Combine that with the guys from Tears for Fears themselves publicly stating how seriously impressed they were with the Gary Jules cover, to the extent that they prefer it over their own, and I think F211 got it right. Except for the outro…that’s where they should have said “…of the Gary Jules version of the Tears for Fear original” rather than “…by Gary Jules”. But now we’re getting into semantics, so meh.
tl;dr overall I wouldn’t challenge the attribution, knowing the history and the views of the original artist.
I still think the people who wrote the song should get first credit.

Does Ryan leave his amazing, powerful bass to accompany on a keyboard that Sam could overlay in the edit? Isn't it the absence of Ryan's bass that I miss on Concrete Castles? And now you are also absent from F211? It's definitely in tune with what the title describes: going nowhere, mad world...enlarging your world. And still, nice Cover.

I don't know what you mean by underrated. It was successful when it first released by Tears For Fears and it became popular again when Gary Jules covered it.

You are a cut above most bands on RUclips. Great musicians, fantastic vocals(,and harmonies), and you are hard working at your craft. You deserve success.
As a metalhead, I had my days of alt underground. From The Smiths, SherikBack, BlackFlag, The Church, and an occasional Tears for Fears. Mad World was always a favorite, but Jules' version was something different and out of this world. F211's version is a fantastic cover. However, my all-time favorite of a Mad World cover is Jasmine Thompson.
