Do you know of a site or somewhere to look for used Atoms? I remember seeing one many yrs ago on a site with a B-16 engine for $15k.. I'm just curious what the cheapest ones go for and how many engine options there were?? All i ever heard of was the K20 and the V8?

The atom is awesome and i need one. Funny thing is i have been trying to get a camper so i can move out of my moms place onto the land I bought recently. Unfortunately im not in a financially stable enough position right now to make an offer (unless you want me to buy you pizza for it or something), and i live clear in arizona so getting it would be a bit hard. I will pray that the camper finds its home soon, it looks great from the outside and floors are a pretty easy fix. It definitely will bless someone.
Boys & their toys. I went a little OCD earlier in my life with 6 motorcycles registered & inspected at the same time; GL1800 Gold Wing, Triumph Rocket III Classic, Suzuki 1250 Bandit S, Kawasaki Versys 650, Kawasaki KLR-650 & Honda PS250 Big Ruckus scooter ( 70 mpg & 70 mph, just not at the same time. It was like flying a toilet down the Interstate ). I finally got a handle on my addiction & now still have the Bandit with a 2017 Triumph Bonneville Bobber high torque 1200 parallel twin. The Bandit is my sport touring ride & the Bobber is my hooligan bike. So far, at 72 that duo is keeping me smiling.

I'm a hobbyist-welder. If you supply the steel, I'll weld up new floor supports and install the plywood through the supports. I also work as a finish carpenter and would install the flooring. It would be a new experience for me but I've wanted to learn flooring for a while. Don't know how I'd fit it into my schedule, but i'd figure it out lol.

FYI Don't use lithium batteries in freezing conditions, charging them below freezing electroplates them internally. Commercially available lithium batteries should have a heater to raise them above freezing before charging them.

I know of a family living in a camper currently with a child and three dogs, and two there children every other weekend, they're in a season that will pass but this could be a big blessing for them, their camper is old and beat up bad. I've got a rail buggy and while it's nowhere near the Atom as far as performance, there's just something about an open wheeled vehicle that's different.

It's VW powered but it's got a cam and bigger jugs and it's pretty respectable on the road. It looks like a little sprint car. It's got a body and big fat rear tires. Last night I got it up to around 80.

The way it sits stock it looks like one of those Jazzy old-folks scooters. It needs an F1 look with fatter/wider rear tires with deep, way more positive offset rear wheels like the F1.
I'm sure you guys know but you mentioned you aren't that familiar with lithium ion batteries. They should never be charged at freezing or below, otherwise they can explode. In PA, it wouldn't be that hard to accidentally do that with a trickle charger or the alternator. Great video.
Li-Fe is much more stable than Li-po or Li-ion. Li-FePO4 is the best & specifically made for cars, trucks, etc\12v DC charging systems, much safer, not prone to fires or combustion & last many times longer than any other lithium batteries. Li-po are most dangerous! VERY FEW people know the proper procedures for taken care of any battery, especially rechargeables!! I have rechargeable cells at least 15 years old & still going strong.👍
Might be worth getting that thing tuned. It seems to be dumping fuel a little bit. Also, I approve of bigger wing but the car is light enough where you will need to put a front wing on. I love this thing though. Adam Ferrara calls these paper clips on wheels. Another thing, you might want to check the tags for your seat harnesses, they have expiration dates if you didn't know. 👍
@@Spadookie prevents ejection upon impact/rollover as well as keeps the occupant inside their seat while maneuvering hard. It's a racing harness. Not a regular seatbelt.

The best thing about working on things with your kids is their hands fit into the tight places. Dropped a screw the other day and got my 5 year old to reach it.

There's very few situations a seatbelt will offer safety in that thing.
@@Spadookie prevents ejection upon impact/rollover as well as keeps the occupant inside their seat while maneuvering hard. It's a racing harness. Not a regular seatbelt.
@@pootmahgoots8482 You only need to watch SFI dates if u need it to pass tech for a racetrack. Or we would all be changing seatbelts in all our cars every 5 years. Besides keeping your butt planted they won't help in a accident. One love brother.
