- Started out Fishing with a few mates out in the country side until i had a phone call from a client asking me to unblock a drain for him.
I left Dwellingup, Western Australia and headed for Leederville. A great client called to ask if we could do some drain unblocking as he had a blocked drain in his kitchen and needed some drain cleaning for his grease trap. Grease trap issues occur when rubbish has gone down the drain. These drains can also be blocked up with fat and Grease. Fat comes from oily foods which then builds up in the drain. Grease traps need to be cleaned out more regularly in commercial kitchens as the grease and drain fat can build up inside causing blocked drains. On this channel you will see lots of Grease Trap Cleaning.
As I'm actually a plumber who specializes in all aspects of plumbing, we'll see it all! If you like this newer style of content, let me know!
I clear blocked drains from residential homes to commercial properties. Drain Cleaning Australia has been drain cleaning and plumbing for 10 years. Some of the tasks performed are clearing blocked toilets, blocked basins, blocked showers, blocked sinks and of course blocked Grease Traps which have featured on this channel many times. G’Day Bruce! Or maybe G’ Night, since I’m watching this at 00:48. Keep doing what you do best. Stock up on some Welles for these jobs so you don’t get all that crap sprayed on you. And a hand pumped sprayer to evenly spray your soap-disinfectant combo. You can try white vinegar for the first level of clean. It degreases everything. Then the soap-disinfectant combo can clean up.
Grease traps are okay, I love the manholes with sewerage, removing roots from drains. Nice video today.

I do like how all or most grease traps are outdoors in Australia. In Canada as far as I know they are all indoors, must make servicing them a pain in the arse.

I don’t know if you had this old programme on TV in Oz, but when I was a kid there was an American show called the Littlest Hobo. The theme tune had a line ‘on the road, that’s where I wanna be’ or something similar. Also, not a chance of getting in that grease trap for anything less than a hundred GRAND. At 3 meters deep am sure to drown, so it would mean one less subber - which have been a subber about 2-3 month ( ish ) at this point and you and penetrator ( another drain man ) are me faves he is a ozzie too - im in the UK, and until about 4 month ago, I would not of dreamed of watching men freeing shit from manholes and gullies, but I am fookin addicted now, I follow lots of you, but you 2 and the drainblockers - scouse lads based in the Uk are all my faves.
