Such a lucky girl! Ako kasi like 20 pesos lang baon ko everyday and that's for my transpo back and forth. But it was quite fine. Lagi din ako nasa SB dati pero as a barista hihi. I am now a graduating student, btw.

Just a tip from a working woman.. save as much as you can while you're still studying. I think what you spent this week is reasonable as I also studied in a school that pretty much has expensive options lol. The moleskin purchase just added the bulk so maybe just bring snacks and study in the library next week. Balance is key and I also don't believe in depriving yourself it will just make you crave and spend more later on.

It’s the smallest things that adds up and ends up the biggest in your weekly or even monthly expenses. I learned this new thing were you multiply those small things to 365 which is the whole year and that made me stop to spend soooooo much and it made me aware of how much I spend. I hope whoever reads this can also help you like it helped me! :)

Wow I graduated in Ateneo, and my allowance was P50 a day (though that was years ago). I brought sandwiches to school and rarely bought food from school. :) You are lucky.
Why not set an amount for what you will spend in a day instead of listing what you spent? That's what I do. I set for example P200 lang ngayong araw so that mas conscious ka na sobra na yung nagastos mo for the day. Sometimes na o-over limit din ako especially pag bibili ng gamit sa school pero aware ako na sumobra na ako and i can adjust for the next days.

Totally agree with studying in Starbucks/Bo’s Coffee and not minding to pay 200-300 pesos 🤣 in our area, most customers are med students and so they just study there. It honestly keeps me motivated to be surrounded with people being productive.

Last semester I tried not to spend any of my allowance lol. I ate at home and (like 90% of my allowance goes to alcohol. Don't judge) just drink on special occasions like a normal human being and not drink on a daily basis lol. I saved 40k lol. Then I paid for my tuition for this semester lol hahahaha

I totally get you with your opinion on SB ambience. Sometimes it's just really worth it to spend a bit for the aura of the place. When I was in college (UST) I also used the library a lot. We are blessed with a very big library space and generous study areas but iba pa rin kasi ang aura ng SB or other cafes. Many people don't get it and will opt to judge coffee shop lovers but I don't care. Kung ikakapayapa ng loob ko at ikakataas ng grade ko, I'll save money for it. 👍 It may be true na dapat at a young age you have to save money but if you have the privilege to spend a bit for comfort sa SB, go for it. When you get older and have your own family, possible na hindi mo na rin iyun magawa. 😊

Not to make you bad on your own video, but that's alot. I only have 1000 pesos allowance for 2 weeks when I was in college so technically what you spend on a week is my allowance for 1 and a half month and yeah, I survived college and I even graduated with flying colors. And when I started working naman, I tried to lessen my expenses to 68 pesos per day, so again technically it's lower than my expenses during college days and definitely lower than your expenses during your whole life lol
