Is there a mod that fixes the xeno's attraction to sounds? The only thing that really hurt my immersion in the game was finding out that the xeno doesn't actually care about most sounds, like doors, vents, and lockers, even though those sounds are very loud and a xeno would immediately associate them with a person. Meanwhile some other sounds could draw the xeno right to you despite happening across most of the level such as alarms.

Hey man loving the videos. I had a question regarding how you captured the gameplay for your cyberpunk vr vid. I understand you play in Mono mode to get a clear image but how are you getting such a high fov? Appreciate you probably have a lot of comments to sift through but if you could help that would be great. Thanks
The mirror display shows according to your screen settings in CP2077 but renders according to the headset viewing mode. So I adjusted the FOV to a wider setting and then played in mono so that it didn't have the dual eye flicker on the mirror. I was doing some testing and almost tried to fix/edit the dual eye display image because I think mono is the worst headset viewing experience but it was going to be a nightmare to try and align the alternating images so I just accepted that for recording purposes I would use mono. The full screen mirror was the only way to get a decent enough resolution for capture purposes. I think the wide FOV gives a better idea of what it's like viewing in a headset and it helps the footage appear more stable for viewers at home.
Don't know if its true but rumor's are claiming that Alien Isolation 10th anniversary remastered edition, complete with official VR support, will be released in November with Alien Isolation 2 following in 2025/2026! Again, don't know if the rumor's are true but I sure hope they are!
It's a lot more noticeable in the headset for sure. There was an AA mod someone made a long time ago because it's a problem with the game in general but I don't think anyone ever got it working with the VR mod. Maybe these are all the things we can get in a remake.
OMG!!!!! Ok, so I haven’t played games in 25 years (I’m 43) and just these past 2 weeks I’ve been considering to perhaps get into 1 game and so I’ve been looking into all the best games! And I have a wide range of interests, from Western to fantasy, history, etc. Anyway I landed on Cyberpunk 2077, and along my rabbit hole I discovered your video on Cyberpunk 2077 VR, which increased my excitement by 10x 🤯, I’m in disbelief actually. And now I’m here because this experience also looks, well, a loss for words! My question is this, regarding the necessary equipment to make these worlds a reality, will the Quest 3 and Lenovo Tower 7i gen 8 4080 be sufficient? I know nothing about gaming, technology or computers, so thanks in advance for any help!
I think that should definitely work. I don't personally know the performance impact of Cyberpunk with Quest link though since the computer also has to compress the feed to the headset but that's a pretty solid setup so it might just require playing around with settings to find the sweet spot.
Try a Resident Evil in VR, I imagine its really tense as well. I have a very good gaming PC, but I've been waiting for ever for new and better VR headsets to come out other than the Meta headsets. Its really taking for ever, and the ''newer'' ones are not great either, like I don't want to wear a huge headset like the Crystal etc. I wonder when Valve will deliver on a new headset...
The mod has been out for a while but the feature was never officially released in the game despite I think having the rough code for it since the devs were testing it.
It does work, google it, change appmanifest installdir to AlienIsolation instead of Alien Isolation and then save it. I can’t explain but it does work… you can figure it out
This is definitely the scariest thing I've played and Phasmophobia has native VR support I believe which will surely scare anyone if they are newer to VR.
ohhhh hell no, i got the normal game and i played it for about 30min when it was released and never played it again. this in VR would scare the shit out of me hahaha
This is a great video review, but it very frustrating. I've got the game via Epic store and the mod just won't work for me. If I take the dll out of the Alien isolation folder, it boots up no problem in 2D. (Win 11, RTX 3080) Open to suggestions the don't involve paying for the game on Steam (Already purchased original PS3 version, then the iOS version)
Sadly I think it only works on the Steam version from what I've read, but at least right now it's only 10$ on Steam during the sale but still sucks you need to buy again to play in VR.
As far as I can tell the only real fix for shimmering is another mod but I dont think compatible. I will say I noticed it a lot less in the headset than on flat.
@x32i77 I was using the Index which tbh has some general shimmering anyways, the fresnel lenses are kind of dated, that may have obscured some of the shimmering from the game itself. There was a forum post where people were discussing getting the AA mod working in VR but I don't think it ever led to anything.
I recently bought Alien Isolation and installed the VR mod but I couldn't take how old all the textures and people looked. It was like a ps3 game, and it was. So I made a refund. I've never played the game before but it just wasn't as good as a VR experience for me. I will buy the new Alien vr game when it comes out. Maybe one day I'll play through Alien Isolation but on a 4K flat screen. It needs a remaster in my opinion.

As always a great video tho
🙏
Yes my heart absolutely hurt.
I just said nope and took the headset off after a couple of the bug scares. Need to let my blood pressure settle before any more VR horror.
@@bonezzVR it's as real as it gets
I heard cyberpunk 2077 vr is really cool
It's insane but my comments would suggest its 50/50 on whether you are willing to put up with put up with the couple shortcomings.
I keep hanging on the hope of an Index v2 myself. It's showing its age but still, checks all the boxes most important to me
I swear this was already in the game? i remember videos from like 2016 - 2018 of people playing this game in vr.
The mod has been out for a while but the feature was never officially released in the game despite I think having the rough code for it since the devs were testing it.
Quest 3 best thing in gaming! 🇬🇧
MotherVR unfortunately does not work with Win11. I wish it was updated soon...
It does work, google it, change appmanifest installdir to AlienIsolation instead of Alien Isolation and then save it. I can’t explain but it does work… you can figure it out
What are the best VR games for Halloween Parties to scare people?
This is definitely the scariest thing I've played and Phasmophobia has native VR support I believe which will surely scare anyone if they are newer to VR.
ohhhh hell no, i got the normal game and i played it for about 30min when it was released and never played it again. this in VR would scare the shit out of me hahaha
what mic are you using?
Hi, I didn't buy it on Steam and the procedure you described doesn't work. Can you help me?
Unfortunately I believe the mod ONLY works on the Steam version.
Would you be able to have a look at RE7 vr mod? I have heard that one is amazing!
Might need a second to recover from this one but I do love RE7
This is a great video review, but it very frustrating. I've got the game via Epic store and the mod just won't work for me. If I take the dll out of the Alien isolation folder, it boots up no problem in 2D. (Win 11, RTX 3080) Open to suggestions the don't involve paying for the game on Steam (Already purchased original PS3 version, then the iOS version)
Sadly I think it only works on the Steam version from what I've read, but at least right now it's only 10$ on Steam during the sale but still sucks you need to buy again to play in VR.
@@bonezzVR Thanks. I guess I'll just have to take the plunge.
spooky
Understatement
@@bonezzVR im gonna try it
@@benjib20 Report back after please!
@@bonezzVR so its scary

Does it even run with a 4090 without having aliasing shimmering ?
As far as I can tell the only real fix for shimmering is another mod but I dont think compatible. I will say I noticed it a lot less in the headset than on flat.
@@bonezzVR which headset are you running then ? Varjo xr4 ? xD
@x32i77 I was using the Index which tbh has some general shimmering anyways, the fresnel lenses are kind of dated, that may have obscured some of the shimmering from the game itself. There was a forum post where people were discussing getting the AA mod working in VR but I don't think it ever led to anything.
@@bonezzVR hmm strange Okay
So badly do i wish this had motion controls. It gives me a headache with static arms
Lots of rumors that might be coming in some kind of anniversary remaster
I built a PC just to play this one amazing game got a new PC and can't get it to work on windows 11 gutted!!
Oh no! Well they just confirmed work has started on a sequel. My fingers crossed we will get a VR mode native in it.
Is this PC vr gaming
Yep it's a mod for the game on PC
I love these kinds of videos!
You might check out the email you got from me :)
Vr without motion controllers is a deal breaker.
00:47 oh you love alien? name every alien.
EDIT: oh shigg alien isolation is 75% off right now till the 26th, yoink!
Can this work with the PSVR2 and the PC adapter?
