Memory Motel is a beautiful ballad and a musical masterpiece 🎉🎉. Mick your vocals are beyond words. I love hearing these vintage songs 🎵 .That's what we need to hear. Mick and Keith singing together puts a smile in my heart.Just like the old days.I miss them singing together. It just sounds so freaking right. This is why I love the Stones the way that I do.
I love it and I saw the Stones do this also with my Stones Partner n husband of 24 years. Special song as He is Just A Memory , passed in 08 also.... Mick sounds Amazing !
This may well be my favorite Stones song. They are all so together on it. Proof again that Jagger and Richards can write great songs in many genres !!!
@@paulsullivan1650 For this one it's a Taylor / Jagger session like a few others greats one, winter, Sway, Till the Next time, Moonlight Mile... Keyth was in his heavier drugs period, a chance that he could stop.
I had a lovely night with my soul mate at a shittyy old motel , it was the 90s but it was straight outta the 70s , lovely decor . Great night , that's my memory motel . Love you lot
I was at this show! The day of this show, they held an online vote for that night's ticket holders for a surprise song. This song was one of the options. I certainly voted for it and as you can see, it won. 50 years and the Glimmer Twins et al were effing fabulous! Ya, they're up there in years, but so am I and we are all still rocking!!! Thanks to a friend in the biz, I own a copy of this entire show at the Garden that night.
You know what's amazing? I've seen Stones cover bands who were together 5-10- 20 years. They're gone. Stones are still touring. How do you do that for so long? They must have a superior positive attitude, love, forgiveness. Happens so seldom. To some not at all. Rare gifts.
I lost my Stones buddy too. I've been to many shows since his death in 2012 and you know what...he's there with me each time right on my shoulder. Love you Steve.
Gives Me Chills As I SAW Them Do This this many yrs ago in E.Rutherford NJ I cant remember What tour BUT Its Special 2 me also as I was there WIth My Husband and BF since KIDZ !! An AMAZING Memory as he Passed away 8 yrs ago. stones4life
ps only yesterday I listened to 'No Security' album where they do this with Dave Matthews , it's good but this one has extra good warmth about it somehow . the Mick / Keith singing thing is great & Daryl Jones looks / sounds like he grew there !
Where are these words ??? "I got to fly today on down to Baton Rouge My nerves are shot already The road ain't all that smooth Across in Texas is the rose of San Antone I keep on a feeling that's gnawing in my bones"
One of my all time FAVORITE Stone's song, but I gotta say I was a little disappointed here. I'm from Boston, and when the line came up "where she's headed to" the crowd left me underwhelmed.

RS fan here. Memory Motel, one of my favs of the Stones. Great melody, lyrics, vocals and keyboards. And has a lot of soul too.
Rolling stones = a smile on my face every time I listen to them😊
The world will be a sadder place when the Stones no longer make music. RIP Charlie

Mostly Jagger song.
@@Methilde clearly mostly Jagger but both split all songwriting credits.
@@robbielawing9272 Yes, and better like that.
My favorite has always been "Time Waits For No One" and I'm surprised it's never on any Greatest Hits Albums...

anybody else like keith's little "shes gotta miiiind of her own" (and she uses it well) interlude?? it makes the song.
