I was having mad trouble, not knowing how to get perks, level up my survivor, or how to even unlock doors, I kept breaking the locks. But I kept at it, trying different survivors, now settling on Julie for her proficiency skill and stealth. Now I'm a fast picker, and I've started gaining a survivor or two who follows me, because now I'm able to get out of the basement within two minutes. I'm good at stealth, and hiding and not making noise. This game takes time and learning, I havent mastered any maps or learned how to deal with them really. But this game has a really good start, it's very different with how it's such a more tailored experience for survivors and killers. The skill tree alone is really cool, and I'm looking forward to respecing my character to try different perks.
I’m glad you’re getting the hang of the game and enjoying it! I love it as well and I’m excited about leveling up all my characters. Right now I have two map guides up covering the family house and the gas station. I have to work on the slaughter house guide next
@@kidrl Oooh, that sounds perfect! The maps that take place in night confuse me greatly, so your vids will be very helpful 🙂 I'm glad this game is fostering a good community, and that it has polite and informative content creators like you who provide helpful tips and guides.
Thanks for the info, I understood almost everything ealry in when the game dropped but one thing I'm struggling on is trying to escape, I'll have the exit ready but it's like I get caught at the last sec and I would basically be chased all game by at least 2 of the family members while my other teammates can just escape un touched, I don't wanna accuse people of cheating but I had multiple situations were the killer Randomly snaps in my direction and goes to my exact hiding spot.
So when a family members just snaps to your hiding spot they are indeed hacking. No family member has the ability to just appear. It’s sucks but hackers are ruining games for people. As far as maps. I have to guides up on how to get out the basement and escape, for the gas station and for the family house. Im posting the slaughter house guide today
@@kidrl Ah ok, That's the only problem I really had was the family instantly finding me, that's unfortunate how that is happening, hope they fix it soon.
Most of the time, I’ve seen the family split up and guard all the exits, which basically makes it impossible to escape. The family is basically holding the game hostage at this point & changes need to be made to nerf the family. If you don’t have any friends for a team with communication, you’re seriously hosed as a victim.
@@DriverGuy23 They'll try and guard one exit but as soon as they see one person they try to gang up. It's a good idea for the victims to split up but stay in communication so the family think that one exit is more important than another
@@DriverGuy23 I’ve heard to do one exit as a decoy and they do one to escape out of. It’s a lot of unnecessary work but it works sometimes. But yeah if that doesn’t work then it’s not much you can do when they camp and you’re solo.
@@DriverGuy23 I usually go give grandpa a poke when they get to guarding the the exits like that. Works everytime, plus bringing grandpa's level down is good for the victims gameplay
Yes! His stamina last the longest and he’s able to add a perk that allows him to keep running even longer with 3 instant stamina refills. Others are also able to use the perk, but by default Sonny is already the fastest
@@kidrl ohhh I see, so he has the most stamina capacity of any survivor but when two survivors are running side by side they move the same speed correct?

You can also use bone shards to kill chicken so they don't cluck. And they don't have a one-time use if you only use them to take down the bones
I’m just trying to remember the lock pick so I can get to scrapping lol, grandpa bout to get this work!!!
EFF HIM UUPPPPPP

this game is hard as hell for victim 😭. i’ve barely escaped all day
I feel it. If the family is communicating it is really difficult. But I'll post more map guides to help victims out
