First great job on both this and your videos, you guys keep it fun but with great results to boot. Does it sound real, yes in terms on how modern day vocals are processed, but it does sound processed neither less. For someone who has no vocalist yea for sure. I think AI will drive live vocalist in higher demand over the years as that will be the only way to know for sure, all be it voice overs. The live vocalist will always win over AI as its part of the human experience to expel human emotion in their vocals, both in terms of expression and subconscious connection.
Great video. I loved the chat between you guys while you where processing the data together. I think the real singers do not have to be affright of losing their Jobs at this point of time. But I think the results (sorry Claudio) would be stunning when you had used a much better singer and aplliccted AI to transfer it to another voice. That would be also a great video.
I like the vocal application. The other parts you can play with your chops better on keyboards and faster. Keep in mind you only sang in 4 bars of music! If you played this in you'd have at least 32 bars! :-) But the vocal Ai part is the most useful part of this!
To me it didn't sound natural. It sounded like it was sung in one breath, even when it was about to jump up to the higher register where you would expect an actual singer take a deep breath. It also sounded really flat (expression-wise, not pitch-wise), especially in the high register.
