If you’re already tired of Ryan saving Maria’s every 3 second….then buddy just hang on, and remember there’s more to Ryan than being Marisa saver 24/7

Good old Linda Lavin. Very popular actress in the 70's and 80's. She had a reoccurring role on Barney Miller until she got her own show, Alice, which was on the air for nearly a decade. Very good singer and actress. Being a fan of Alice back then, it was pretty cool seeing her appear in this episode.
The entire Ryan and Marissa storyline played itself out at this point, notably the 'saving Marissa' angle they kept going with, so it's understandable your disdain towards it, keep watching.

as someone who hates people slapping people in shows and movies, Luke deserved that one lol, imagine cheating on someone and then also sleeping with their mom💀 still love Luke though, best character tbh

This is the episode that I always think of as the defining episode to decide whether you will like the show from season 2 on over. People who are kind of done with Season 1 at this point tend to actually like the show going forward. Ironically enough those that enjoy it a lot tend to love season 1 and hate everything that comes after. I fall in to the latter category. I love season 1 and hate everything that follows. But hopefully this is a good sign that you will like everything that follows. Great reaction as always mate.

that’s an interesting perspective. I actually think the “Mall” episode from Season 2 is when people will usually decide if they will like the show from then on.

@@Davon85J That’s definitely a more obvious example, and there are more as the show goes on. I just, from personal experience, see this as the first episode where you see people diverge into either “I love season one” or “I love the whole thing”. Has been a very divisive topic in my circle of friends who have watched this show and this episode just happens to be the first sign of that divergence of opinion.

Ryan and Marissa are one of the worst couples I've ever seen
