Thank you so much , you made me remember my youth that passed so fast trying to make all my dream come true. And i stop at 57 look at myself in the mirror and I saw a old man with a 80's kid heart . Thank you again 👏👏👏👏👏💎💎💎💎💎💎💎🍺cheers pal
One time i went to a taping of a local tv show that BG was on, (i was last one to get in) .. during commercial break, Boy George turned to me and winked. OMG, i think i died and this is my ghost typing this. lol I will never forget that day
tremenda banda inglesa el club de la cultura todavía vigentes en 2016 haciendo historia apesar de todos los problemas que pasó su vocalista boy York quien admite su problema de drogadicción por la heroína hoy aprendido de los errores y esta de pie de nuevo
Thank you Paul O'Brien.to share this concert, I love this music since I listed" Chameleon"in my childhood 25 years ago in my country, Mexico. Thank you again.
Boy George sounds very good & the band played great, thank you so much for uploading this beautiful concert for my favorite Band of all time, I wish I was there with the crowed, but I noticed some songs were not complete, Australians make great audience though
Paul O'Brien THAT IS SO TRUE, since the time they started the Band. I don't think he gets enough credit for that or appreciated as much as he should be. He was the one who first gave George Direction and his expertise when writing the lyrics and kept him organized, as he mentioned in an interview back in 1985. You probably already know that John was an experienced musician who played with a few other Bands before Culture Club. Jon & Roy create the sound, rhythm and Melody of the music to go with George's Lyrics. I wish George would give him his props during interviews.
@@naturalkinkycurlymarie7496 yah but to be fair I saw a 1982 video on RUclips with only BG accepting an award on behalf of the whole group. Saying he wouldn't be where he was without them.
Understood that age brings on a change in vocals and it's certainly no different here. With that being said, there are groups out there that do maintain the strength of their vocals rather than the timbre (usually, and vice verse) throughout the years. But here CC hasn't maintained either. Their tone is still there, however, but it's not strong enough to really feel that vibe which was once there. The musical part of it is still in tact but not the vocals, unfortunately. Anyway, they are still icons to be remembered. Even with all that, it's still good to see them as healthy as they are and hope they'd consider vocal coaching and prepping for new recordings.
I went to the Melbourne show and while watching the video at the start of the show there were a few songs I didn't recognize. What songs are played at 1:20 and 2:18 ?? Please help me!
Paul O'Brien even with the 2:18 song, I find it hard to make out what the lyrics are and that could even help find the song. Do you know what the words are?
It was played at the concert - but I omitted it from this selection because of poor vision due to the girl in front of camera waving her arms about. Sad I know . .
Thanks. I was trying to understand the song. This coming Saturday July 2nd I´ll be assisting to the Concert of Culture Club in Bajamar in Ensenada, Baja California México. I am looking forward to it. :) :)
In this case ".. do you deal in black money" means are you spending money to buy love or are you spending money on someone who does not love you an if you are then '..you got money to burn"
not in the meaning of this song Boy wrote this about Jon '...when you love someone and they don't love you in return, you got money to burn, do you deal in black money" get it right
I thought that was shitty what he did when introducing the drummer; he pointed to the percussionist and the band members were trying to point at the drummer and George refused to acknowledge him; I do know that when they were young they went together, they were a couple, and the drummer was bisexual not gay. George should at least respect him unless there is some type of difficulty going on between them; I do also know the drummer married, had children, etc., and maybe George has "sour grapes" over that and the drummer don't pay attention to him as in the past. If the drummer brings his wife with him on the tour, that also could cause George, who we all know is gay (and I don't care), to possibly get jealous. Let's face it, we get older, but the mind, thoughts, actions and spirit never change.
garrybcoston Jon treated George like crap when they were "together"... and I say that in parentheses because Jon never wanted to admit he was into a dude, and never to this day has come out as gay or bi, even tho we all know. George would cook for him and primp over him, and Jon would continue to play the field with women, while George would be at home waiting up for him. Jon was never brave enough to fully accept his sexual preference and kept George basically emotionally enslaved to him. George loved him, and Jon treated him like dirt. Meanwhile, flocks of both men and women were throwing themselves upon George and he remained faithful to Jon, who would have numerous sexual encounters with tons of women. How the fuck would you feel in that situation... and to have to continue to perform with the person who stole your heart and broke it so dearly... Their breakup was what broke up the band for so long and depression sent George into his horrible drug addiction. I think George is so amicable towards Jon in recent interviews... and the fact that he actually wanted to tour with the band again.. I mean, there was even a time that Jon had reformed Culture Club and replaced George, without George even knowing. George is a strong person .. I don't think most people would ever stand back up on a stage with the same person that stole so much away from them to begin with.
roguenation If that's what you believe, then you know nothing about addiction... George's addiction was a symptom of depression... As it is with majority of addicts... A lot of people struggling with addiction, just their drug or alcohol to cope with a much deeper rooted issue, such as depression or anxiety... I have a minor degree in psychology, and part of my studies focused on addiction...
Please don't try to portray yourself as a mental health professional or physician who has ever evaluated BG or anyone else for major depressive disorder or clinical depression. No, it was louche '80s hedonism that led him down the slippery slope to possible drugged out doom.

Jon Moss killed me at 35:52, he always makes me laugh. He had the crowd going too.
Natural Kinky Curly―Marie - Jon Moss has been covering up for George most of his life (ha in a good way!)

I went to the Melbourne show and while watching the video at the start of the show there were a few songs I didn't recognize. What songs are played at 1:20 and 2:18 ??
Please help me!
Chrystal Connor - good question? They are snippets of songs in the introduction. I don't recognise them either. Maybe someone else will help us out?
Paul O'Brien even with the 2:18 song, I find it hard to make out what the lyrics are and that could even help find the song. Do you know what the words are?
Chrystal Connor - I Shazamed it! The song is track 9 Mannequin from the album walking up with the house on fire.
Paul O'Brien Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!
The 1:20 song is That's The Way. I looked up the lyrics to find it.
Chrystal Connor - well done.
El pobre canta como Juan Penas!
Where was Time(clock of the heart?)
It was played at the concert - but I omitted it from this selection because of poor vision due to the girl in front of camera waving her arms about. Sad I know . .

Hahaha - wish I could "Bang Bang!!"
Still no UK dates :(
What happend to Time Clock Of the Heart Mister Man War Song The Medal Song????
tubagee Unfortunately the filming of these songs were interrupted by other fans in front of me - so I omitted them from this upload. :-(
What's going on with his vocals ? .... all on hard drive I guess? Strange or so high that it doesn't matter?
What is the meaning for "Do you deal in black money"?

George's harrowing descent into drug addiction- that nearly led to his death-was due to nothing more than his own recklessness and stupidity.
