I’ve seen people adding grains of rice to salt shakers in Malaysia to keep the salt flowing but obviously not in a grinder as you’d get it in your food! I assume this is relatively safe? I don’t think raw rice is safe to eat but the salt should keep it sanitary? Might want to check this!

I opted for a pair of magnetic bars for all my knives. That keeps all my blades up and out of the way.

I’ve found this is my preferred storage too! Especially since I have a small kitchen.
I just use a baking sheet for quick defrost. The metal is what speeds it.

I thought we were phasing out all the single use ziplocs. Reusable silicone ones go in the dishwasher. Those bags just go right in the landfill
