Love your videos on The OA. Would love an episode on the topic of Katun and Elody and their symbolism and possible biblical/spiritual references and inspiration
Holy cow that's like exactly what I was talking about! Also the palindrome thing is a really good find and also seems a massive hint towards season 5 ending where season 1 started.
I'll try and look into those specifically before my next big video, but the next one will definitely address the loop that BBA and Steve are trapped in.
Love your videos on The OA. Would love an episode on the topic of Katun and Elody and their symbolism and possible biblical/spiritual references and inspiration
Super cute lol... also your videos remind me that I'm not the only one who literally thinks that this show as "deep" as Pretty much ANYTHING I've ever seen come from television... thank you for your videos 💞
In Gnosticism, Sophia is practically Lucifer..or at least he is her messenger. Gnosticism basically inverts everything good and holy with the bad and evil, like every proper death cult should
She carries the archetypes of Venus and Sophia. But she is not an Adversary character to correspond exactly with Lucifer. But as Venus, the morningstar, the dawn, bringer of illumination, I believe she reflects this aspect of Lucifer. Maybe Lucifer corresponds as her father (the one persecuted in russia). I believe she also carries characteristics of Jupiter
I’ve considered that, but it’s so much work editing wise, it would be mostly my opinions in addition to these references, but I don’t think it’s the best use of my editors time given these aren’t big view videos. A few more topics could be fun but another 16 would be too much haha.
Man, I’m just a really big fan I wish I would’ve found these videos earlier. I like your normal channel a bit but damn I just wish More people knew and cared about this series
I really enjoy all of your content on the OA. I just have one problem. What you talk about is really interesting but the music in the background really inhibits my ability to think. It makes the format appear kind of ridiculous to me. Nonetheless these videos have been wonderful sources of insight.
Episode four proves it but if you read her books it won’t even be a question. It’s not a theory if you read it you’ll see the show has the same key messages. Loops, palindromes, fallen figures, and SyZyGy
All do respect for the work you put into this. Im not buying it... Original Angel absolutely is Lucifer in the Jewish Christian teachings. But Prairie OA is peaceful, and genuinely good. She doesnt ever speak of God to even try to lead people away from his grace. Even in metaphor she never did this with the children or her cellmates. I do believe Brit wanted this to be a perspective of spirituality being real, but has more of buddist feel. With the movements and elevating consciousness to reach alternative realities or rhelms. Also her spiritual guide is floating or sitting in the open space of the universe and feeds her a bird. This was the moment of OAs awakening escaping her bondage. Awakening is the first step in higher consciousness, escaping suffering. Season 2 is the 2nd step in Buddhism which is the Rebirth. Shes metaphorically reborn as herself in an alternative reality where she didnt die go blind or lose her father until shes an adult, but even in rebirth she enters her new suffering and must escape it once again. Buddhism believes these continue to happen in cycles over and over again until you reach ultimate consciousness and reach Nirvana. The 7th rhelm is pure love. A place this story may not reach unless they attain multiple levels in a season or two. Im not a Buddhist, so my explanation is amateur and poorly said. I highly suggest you research my theory that shes taking inspiration from Buddhism. It just makes more sense. But I think shes modifying the story to fit her vision of this story she wants to tell. I doubt shes trying to follow any one religion, but perhaps she is intrigued enough to take more inspiration from Buddhism. Brit is very progressive, and supports transgenders. Something that I think would repell her from using Jewish Christian inspirations. Just my own theory.
You’re very uneducated on this. You’ve boiled the entirety of these spiritual schools of thoughts to whether or not you feel they support transgenderism enough. By that logic she wouldn’t choose Buddhism either cuz it’s sexist to women. It’s also ignorant to suggest that there can’t be Christian or Jewish influence if she doesn’t expressly state it or try to concert kids to christian as by that logic she would also be talking about Buddha to them.
@@deepcut7788 No the transgenderism part was an after thought entirely. I was just making the connection to the creators personal beliefs. I could care less whether or not she supports that stuff. What still remains is that her story does address actual stuff from things I read on Buddhism after watching OA. I could easily apply it to what's happening. You can try to connect it to a devil sort of thing but Lucifer I see zero connection to Brits character OA. Other than her ability to captivate and persuade people so well. Personally I'd hate it If I later found out she was. And it would make sense to try and know the creater when trying to figure this stuff out about her personal project. Makes more sense to me and I'm a Christian. Not trying to speak with authority on it. Just sayn. It's a theory, and so is yours. That's why I said all due respect. I offered an alternative theory. One that I did not base on her personal life. I blurted it out only at the end. Take care.
@themadhatter: i really like your way of thinking and your theory. It fits the vision of Brit and Zal, where they wanted to create something that can heal humanity in the face of everything that is going around the world. For instance, they acknowledge there’s too much violence used as a way to draw people’s attention and energy in. Ending that suggest it’s all her psychosis cheapens all the effort of telling the story. Gnosticism and buddhims seem to have a lot in common in themes of the opposites, consciousness that needs awakening and false beliefs. Oh and Lucifer means the light bringer. I believe i read somewhere that Lucifer originally was not even a godly being, but a reference to the planet venus/morning star/ the bringer of dawn in a prophetic vision, so I don’t buy this. The explanations are always the simplest. Brit and Zal pay attention to story telling and reflecting back at us what makes us amazing beings: love, courage, creativity and compassion.
@@basiaszendrei1603 He just told him facts. Madhatter assumed there is no wisdom in the thought of Christianity and Judaism based on his own perception, using the silly argument of transgenderism. The reality is Christianity is above all wisdom (i acknowledge this is also me stating my opinion) yet it would be silly for me not to see the fruits that are in buddhism. As for Gnosticism , if anyone cared to see the founders of this type of thinking and what their fruits were you would quickly realise it isn't this deep gnosis form of thinking, it was skewing true doctrine to enable very worldly desires.
Just rewatched the series. I knew it was satanic then, and it’s still the same now. It’s gnostic occultism dressed up real nice for surface level viewers. But it’s truly a wicked show despite its creative output.
@@DarlingMissDarlingif you don't realize that half of the storytelling you see on western TV is inspired by ancient egyptian occultism, you're literally still living in Plato's cave

I go in depth on my season five theory in the ‘was prairie lying’ video.
Season 5?
I would love to see a video connecting the practices of qi gong , tetragammatron and the Torus field to the boys and bba and the 5 movements
I'll try and look into those specifically before my next big video, but the next one will definitely address the loop that BBA and Steve are trapped in.
