I've never been to any of it yet but my brother and some other relatives have been to the event; I'm just never eager to go. I might go someday when I'm in the mood🤣. My cousin was part of the staff organizing the event this year.
$15 Dollars entrance fee??? Is that with free food? I'm sorry but that's extortion if doesn't have a freebie with the ticket and I see no value for money. $5 dollars adults and kids for free should be fairer.. Food festivals are free in normal places and in the worst case scenario a less expensive entrance fee
I think they charge you for all the amenities, including DJ, music, ambience, logistics, etc.; I've never been to any other food fest so I wouldn't know if it's too much or not
@@PurelyWalking I think paying isn't the problem I have... Is that $15 Dollars is slightly on the extortion side, plus $900 pesos per kid to play... And although food is at a discount.. Still won't be cheap nor free .. A more attractive price would attract more footfall ... I'm not stingy (tacaño).. But I don't think I could do it .. 😂😂😂 in Dominican Republic people have lost respect for hard earned money 😉😉

Great video. Thanks!
Thank YOU for your awesomeness and generosity! Very much appreciate it!!!
The word Bocado or its informal version "Bocao", is used a lot in Spain too.
Exactly

Thank YOU for watching
Very nice , how often do they do these events ?
They do these once per year. They also started to do one in Santiago, so that would count as twice a year
Wao nice place good stuff
Yeaaa it was great!!!
Greetings, Hope all is well. I am planning to visit soon. What's your recommendation: Week of Independence day or Carnival 2023???
I guess it depends on what you're looking for... carnival week is usually more party themed and independece week is more chill and relaxed...
did they have to roll you out in a wheelchair after all that food? 😂
🤣🤣almost!!!! Lolol
@@PurelyWalking right on! the undefeated champion of the Bocao food fest.😂

@@zaneta3880 I've been to outdoor food markets, even in South Korea, but never a festival with this same concept
@@zaneta3880 I agree with you on the kid area thing, It was even more expensive than the entrance itself
