@izzatluv he is a good producer, but his compositional output can not match many pop songwriters of this era; joe jackson, tom petty, len/mac, glimmer twins, even the davies brothers(kinks). even some of the younger bucks, such as billy joe armstrong, have more hits/output. that said, i do like his sound and his wit.
