Got a 777-200 from LAX to IAD coming up. They used to have a 787-800 flying that route, but it changed over to the 777 a few days before my trip, so I picked this over the same variations of the 737 I've flown on. Excited to fly my first widebody!
I will be flying on the United 777 to Cancun this year and look forward to my first experience with that aircraft. My first choice is usually on Southwest Airlines they were so much more money than United probably because of the number of seats they have to fill it was a no-brainer
Yeah these high density 777's have found their way onto these high density east coast and Caribbean routes and have no sign of not filling, so they're here to stay

I'm flying United LHR - Houston later this month, a 10hr, 40min jaunt in the 200-ER version. Can't say I'm looking forward to it, but I'm up for being pleasantly surprised.
Why would they pay the extra money too add it to a 25+ year old aircraft that will be laid to rest soon. The in-flight wifi connection to your phone for movies is actually a smart idea to save money
Not everyone has thousands of dollars to spend on First. I m going on a United 777-222A In a couple hours, I'm leaving in about 50 minutes for IAD. Even though My dad who I'm doing this trip is Premier Platinum. We still didn't get upgraded to first. Full plane.

2:30 I was on that inbound flight from Denver! Was in Seat 32L.

The long haul 777 is slightly better than this. You'll have TV's, slightly more legroom, and a slightly newer aircraft
I wonder if United will replace the domestic 777-200's with 787-10's. Most airlines would fly that route with a narrowbody aircraft.
We shall see. But I enjoy being on the widebody, even as cramped as it is.

Yes, all the 777-200's have a row like this, so be sure to check seatguru for your specific 777 to see which row it is
United also has "internationally" configured 777-200s with IFE and Polaris etc; these are the old ones relegated to domestic routes
