My warning light was still on but I found a solution without needing the diagnostic (with thanks to Mark B):

You can reset the change oil light in 2018 Mazda CX5 in just a few simple steps. First make sure You are parked in a safe spot and turn the ignition completely off. You will find a knob/stem/stick on the instrument panel, find it and press and hold it. Continue to press and hold that stick and turn the vehicle to the on position. Continue to hold that stick for around 5 seconds until the warning light blinks. Release the stick and the oil change message on the display will go away. If it doesn't work on the first try You will need to repeat it until it does work

Nice video. What do you think about this motor. 2.2 diesel of mazda. Gearbox? Better manual or auto?
I'm thinking on this model or mazda 6.and I don't know if they are reliable. Thanks again for your time.

Both pretty decent tbh , the 2.2 does suffer with turbo issues though

Would the TopDon not reset the service message? I see you are using the Snap On diagnostic machine instead
