The M26(Pershing) and the M46(Patton) are both same but both are different because the M46 Patton is a Improved and upgraded version of the Pershing like the engine and both tanks originally come from the T20 medium tank after upgrading the hull and the turret over and over

The m46 have access to heat shells which M26E1 dont have
But the M26E1 have very good cannon and strong apcr
Also the m46 APCBC ROUND FEEL USELESS IN UPTIER
But you right verdan the m46 is really more helpful than the M26E1
