That elm sure did a number on that beautiful house. It could have been so much worse. Fortunately no one was hurt. Kudos for allowing the homeowner's son to watch. It likely helped him process the near tragedy he avoided. 💓 Sounds like you guys need a cable step for your grapple truck before one of you ruptures something trying to climb up into it. 😜
I really enjoyed this video, and someone obviously put a bunch of effort into the editing in production and I appreciate that. I would really appreciate it if you could lower the music levels below the lowest voices on your future videos. I like to watch videos before I go to bed. For something like this that involves chain saws and machinery I typically wear headphones to avoid bothering my wife. But even with headphones I had to play a game of volume buttons and rewinds to be able to hear what people are saying, but not blast my ear drums when the music kicks in. There were a couple of speaking to music transitions in this video that were enough to make my wife ask me what I was watching because she could hear the music blasting out of my headphones.
Appreciate the feedback. This might have been one of the videos I didn’t edit with headphones on which tends to change how I hear it. Thank you for watching. Apologize to your wife for me.
What a shame. I see this a lot in my area of the state. The city will plant the tree, forbid a homeowner's removal, and abdicate any responsibility of maintenance.
Removed a dead elm in Lake Forest Park at an old sawmill turned affordable senior living community that was maybe 1/3 larger than this tree. Tagged heritage tree. Too tight of a space to get equipment in. Low hanging power lines and telecom crisscrossing the canopy. Woefully underrated COBRA cable holding the main lead over a cottage. Took us 3 days span rigging the tops out.
It’s pretty obvious that that elms root system was compressed into a small space, all the real estate around there for the roots are basically concrete. Those other trees are probably a candidate for the same situation. Need some TRAQ on that.
Amazing work guys. Well done.😊
Thank you! Cheers!
