- I’ve driven many cars that have put a genuine smile on my face, in many cases it’s been because of how insane that particular car sounds. While pretty much all of those cars have somewhat of a giant engine like a straight 6 or a V8, this car right here doesn’t, and that blows me away, because the size of the grin that was on my face when I was behind the wheel of the Suzuki Swift Sport is unbelievable.
From the moment I stepped into the cabin, I felt the excitement, all the red touches across the interior, the insane bucket seats, and the crazy gages on the driver cluster, like the turbo boost gage, just add to the fun that this car provides.
The “Booster Jet” engine as Suzuki calls it, is honestly a party piece for this car, it is very punchy from down low, and the combination of the car’s low weight at 970kg, and the 103kw&230nm 1.4L Turbo engine, is honestly so incredible.
It might not be the fastest, or the best sounding, or even the best handling hothatch, but it holds a recipe that guarantees endless amounts of joy.

Just bought the mild hybrid. One year old with 4000 miles on the clock.

Amazing video, could really see that you enjoyed the car. I watched most of your videos and you never giggled and smiled this much when driving amg's, Rs's, and M cars. It is truly an amazing vehicle. Would buy it over a polo gti any day of the week

Damn this car looks so fun to drive.. probably a better driving experience than the Polo Gti by the looks of it… the body weight is perfect for that power

My reaction in any of the Polo GTI videos I’ve done is nowhere near the same
It is all about the expectations. When talking about the polo gti we expect it to be fast and thus we are not surprised by it when it performs well, but in this case with a swift sport we often undermine it and don't expect much from it and get suprised when we drive it.
@@juliuskona3299 well there’s some truth to what you’re saying, However.. the polo gti is fast but also ways more than the Swift. The Swift looks to be way more analog than the Gti.

as a new subscriber i really did enjoy this review ,infact ill buy this over the polo gti's as the dsg gearboxes are problematic and the gti's dont have any manual option so it a yes from me

Yeah I had the same thought several times in my car, but there’s never been a situation where driving has felt less comfortable than in a car that has one…but I guess it really isn’t a deal breaker
@@embakubmotoring I’m sure it isn’t that bad I was alluding to a scenario where one would have to take it for a long distance drive.
Just maybe things they should consider for the next GEN, add in a sunroof option as well, lol I think most people (the young male demographic) buy the VW/Polos due to the sunroof option
