You're a good explorer 💯🙂 and I'm just glad you found a hobby something to drive around in something to save you money something for the summer 🌞 because you work hard exploring😊
Just found your channel via someone else’s channel.. I have an LT35 and just browsing for some ideas. Owned the van for 8 years(I think) it’s a service van, compressor/electric genny in the back and shelving for tools, flood lights/vice etc. I intend to use it to travel to my Jag which is.. 500 odd miles from my home on Scotland.. I have been majorly distracted from both the van and Jag.. but have been in the van again of late … welding stuff it needs a lot of bodywork more than your van and Intend to fix my doors as good old ones are rare(like the mirror shrouds you mentioned) anyhoo have subbed and look forwards to watching and following your restoration channel.. best Malcolm/Fife/Scotland
Colin, that was absolutely incredible! I'll never do anything like this myself but - for some reason - I found myself transfixed by your efforts here! Isn't it just great to see a sad, neglected old thing like this brought back to life ..... and a good life at that!!
Incredible! Great video. Look forward to the new channel. I really wanted to do this kinda thing when I left school but my dad was having none of it (so sexist) 😢 I'm ok with it now but it's still so cool seeing others restore old vehicles!
Great vid to watch Colin, takes me back some 50 years when I used to do all my own mechanics and welding, Oxy acetylene in those days no mig lol, can't do these things anymore but its a treat to watch you young uns keeping the art alive, thanks for posting.
That was really good to watch. Nice to show you got a lot of talent. Will look forward to you doing this van. Outside already looks awesome. A Nice set of all terrain tyres would make it look even better but cost. very nice. Can't wait to follow
Hi Wow! What a video and transformation of that van.I am so looking forward to all these videos. I would certainly let you work on any of my car problems. 10 out of 10 for workmanship. You certainly keep yourself busy making videos and repairing vehicles.Look forward to next weeks video.Take care.😃
Wicked Wicked Wicked.....I have Overlanded on Motorbikes And Landcruiser's That was great fun Brings back good memories of Prepping for big trips.....I Salute You Sir Great Content.
I made a comment on another video about cars where I mentioned I had cataract surgery yesterday but when you were painting the calliper I thought it was a toy car pmsl 🤣 but the van looks perfect in that colour.
Grand job, Colin . I know very little about restoring vehicles , well , nothing actually . I wouldn't know the difference between a Mig ana a Tig welder . You certainly know your onions , so I shall take a drive over to your restorer channel . Who knows ,I may learn something . Cheers .
Colin mate I love your channel.. what you do when you go looking for abandoned houses and cars is epic.. I also love going to find them too.. Only problem is I don't get out much now (family commitments) so seeing your videos is a great way for me to still do it!!.. keep up the great work mate. 👍
Well that's a first. I have just subscribed to a channel with no content!! (The Bearded Restorer) I guess I will have to be patient and wait for the restoration videos to arrive. Best wishes for the new channel.
Really great job your doing in every way I'll be watching the rest of the build 👍 I to have a LT 35 but mine was a mini bus I've converting in to a campervan.
Colin.ive not watched all yet.but when you say. Turn it into a camper. Go for it. I've a Citroën belonging. On a 57 plate. I've turned that into a one bed camper. With hot and cold water.cooker. and microwave.ideak for me.when I do my sea fishing.on East yorkshire coast.
Hi Colin, hope your doubg good. That video i loved. I love the green paint you picked out. Can't wait to see the next video on it. Stay safe & take care. You & family have a safe & Happy Easter holiday.
Good night Colin why did you not get a van from Al I love your videos of you and your vehicles please keep your videos going it makes me happy and smile
Don't know much about restoring cars/vans Colin but you've done a fabulous job on the van. Love the colour and looking forward to watching your second channel xx
Loved it ❤👏🏻 … so impressed with how you’ve given the van a whole new lease of life 😊just subscribed to your new channel & looking forward to watching 👍
Fantastic idea Colin routing for you 👍you know your knowledge 👍 looking forward to up coming videos ........awesome ,the van from the outside what a turn around ....
Brilliant I really enjoyed this content! You did a really thorough job on the LT. Looking forward to the restoration of your other vehicles. Will be subscribing to the Bearded Restorer... Which is a lovely play on words :)
Nothing better than just cracking on with it yourself if you can do it rather than giving to someone else to do 🙌 Results are always worth it even if it does take some time !
You have done a cracking job so far well done bud. I’m not into the outward bound stuff like the snorkle , ladder, roof terrace etc but hey each to his own. Looking forward to seeing the interior work ; I’m doing a Transit (Jumbo) XLWB as a camper and enjoy seeing others do theirs. Well done pal
I'd think twice about the wooden decking on the roof, I've recently stripped a decking roof rack of a badly converted Transit Mk7 I bought recently, it's made the drive so much nicer without all that weight on the top.
with the door handles just get some boot polish rub it in with a cloth don't worry about the paint it wipes off, then leave it for ten minutes then buff with a cloth and you'll find they will be waterproof too if the back of the mirrors is the same try it on those to bro, it's looking great and a bargain too.
Well done great job glad to see something different on the channel ur welding skills ar good aswell looks really smart ready for summer time camping 🏕 keep up the good content from James 👍
You will put Al 6d diesels out of business at this rate . Good job he owns a heavy press for those pesky plastic pig engines😂👍🏻. The underseal reminds me of the yearly underselling my golf mk3 estate receives.
