This was amazing to watch. I live in ireland, and you have shown me places that i didn't know even existed like Lake Hyne..I will be making a visit in my own van..thanks so much for sharing your fun filled experience 😀 great craic ❤
Another stunning video . I love the uncrowded roads in southern Ireland. The scenery is stunning and the local people are some of the kindest and best people I've ever met anywhere.
What a beautiful, magical trip! And you both seemed to enjoy it so much (except for the rickety cable car😂😂😂) that it was contagious... Thanks for taking us along🙏😊
As someone who worked for a windscreen company, those windscreens are much stronger than you think and you can still drive. Obviously get it fixed when you can but it's not suddenly fall out or anything. They are well designed.
Brilliant, loved seeing my beautiful country, i used to live near kinsale, the next village over called Belgooly. The people of ireland are very kind and friendly. 🙏🙏
Don’t worry guys we’ve had cracked windscreens (in Australia) that we’ve had for months getting them fixed for rego or if they got so bad we had no choice and had to fix it, it’s illegal to leave it real bad over here but it’s common. I walked up a dirt road to the Cliffs of Moher and a car came up behind me and asked me if it was the main road, two dirt tracks in the mud, they were from America. The southern Irish are hard to understand at times, I found it easier in the North. Ireland is absolutely beautiful, I so envy you. Brilliant video guys. 💕
It reminds me that when we did the Wild Atlantic Way from Connemara to Cork, we had a flat at sundown driving through Gap of Dunloe and we got it fixed the next morning in (probably) Killarney
Love your vlogs. Can’t believe Janine is scared of anything. I mean you drove round India in a Tuk Tuk. There can’t be anything scarier than that. Now I want to go to Ireland 🇮🇪 and do all the things you have just done. Looks amazing 🤩
The wild Atlantic coast looks AMAZING and not busy like the NC 500. Don’t worry about the camper and small roads, the transporter has the same footprint as a large estate car. Also your trip in India has inspired us. Just booked a holiday in Sri Lanka and we are going to drive round Sri Lanka in Tuk Tuk
The NC500 is on the same landmass as 65 million people whereas the WAW had only 7 million. And the WAW is spread over 3x the distance so there less concentration of people doing the route. I live on it and there hasn’t been an appreciable difference in traffic since it began as a thing. In more remote parts it probably has but there has been no backlash like I’ve heard about in Scotland.
Loved your vlog this week. Ireland looks beautiful and loved the cable car footage, Liam you are sooo wicked with that cheeky laugh and telling Janine “it’s alright sweetheart!” 🤣😆. You two do a great job of cheering us all up . Drone work and filming awesome as usual Janine , but best of all you are a lovely couple that make us smile 👍❤
We get that on our Bassin d'archacon around 5 in the morning, you need to sleep on a boat to see it, amazing. We were in a similar place to you in Galicia and I'm sure it would be great there as well. We were on a tiny camp site with a view of a fjord with a beautiful tiny beach, crystalline waters and dolphins at sunset 😊
That was a very beautiful and touching video , Thank you , so many people left Ireland like your Mum , and like some of my own family , but not many of the generations come back to see where their from , so its nice to see people like you coming back to see where your roots are , Thanks again for a lovely video
I just watch this video. Oh my gosh, it was absolutely amazing. The scenery was breathtaking. I don’t know how Janine went in that cable car I couldn’t of done that. What a beautiful adventure you both are having. Will it finish so fast? I could’ve watched you for two hours quite happily. It was so relaxing enjoy the rest of your adventure. Can’t wait for the next one. Take care stay safe love you both xx
From Ireland all my life. love that ye r exploring our little country fairness we have a lovely spots in this country. Great to see ye from Uk exploring our little island.
I was so nervous about you coming to Ireland after seeing your epic journey through India. I thought you would be really disappointed. I am so happy am relieved to see you enjoying Ireland.
Ive just got bk on here due to illness.and your in Ireland my farher was from Tipperary And spent so much time there .its the most wonderful country .i have lots of family there. dont worry about the cracked windscreen, I have two large cracks on my work van screen, been like it for years and does not effect mot......just inform the hire company to keep yourself covered......you dont need exaggerated headings like you have on your post to attract views, your posts are better that that........
Loved it. Hilarious pig moment and yes Janine was terrified, can't believe she actually got in the cable car. Shame about negative comments received. The content and quality is fantastic. 💕
Those Happy Days videos always lift my spirits. They are lovely souls, living life and introducing some wonderful parts of the world to their RUclips followers. Wow Lough Hyne is Heaven on earth, I have relatives in Kinsale and another map pin has been added for my own camper journey.
Hello from Rhodes Greece 🥰. Oooooo my wish is to travel to Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Thank you so much for another amazing video 🙏. Bless you both ❤ Love you ❤️😘 Hugs and kisses ❤️😚

What a great video, absolutely stunning countryside, thank you so much for sharing the views. yes that’s a pretty knarly crack in your window, hope you can get it sorted sooner rather than later. Haha, that cable car looks so cool, although with the high winds I’m sure it could produce a butt clenching experience on the wrong day lol, love the dodgy door lol. Stay safe, look forward to the next instalment ❤
We’ve not been to Ireland for a few years! May be after watching your videos we will go again! That was fun and you always manage to find amazing food!❤
I really hope you are enjoying Ireland. I found the man you spoke to about football entertaining. His accent was so strong. Best wishes from further along the Wild Atlantic Way.
Welcome to Ireland guys. Loved the football conversation..lol, the cable car..lol...I think when you complete your trip that you might comeback as there are so many routes for you to try and experience. Stay safe and sure the crack is just part of the trip.
Winscreen damage should be covered within the rental package. But I’m absolutely petrified of driving a rental vehicle for this exact reason. I nearly laughed myself of the sofa when Liam threw coleslaw on a pig 🐷 😂😂😂
@TripsandFeasts1 congratulations with the amazing car and great it can be fixed payed by bossman. Hope no more issues will arise out there on the roads
The craic will get better but the crack will only get worse. I've done 'some' of the Wild Atlantic Way in my VW bus, its beauty is stunning - You will definitely need more time than you think to complete all of it. Best of luck 🤓
Hahaha! Love Janine’s reaction to the cable car - I would’ve been exactly the same! 😳 Wow! Ireland is just beautiful! Keep safe and enjoy your travels! 🇬🇧🇮🇪🚐
Beautiful scenery. I'm with Janine with regards to cable cars. I was on one years ago in Tenerife going up to mount tiede. Everyone was screaming when we went through the pylon thing that bumps. Never again. Great video.
lovely trip today, i wouldnt worry about the crack unless it gets bigger, right what Liam said, you went there for the craic ha ha ha ha , i did feel for you on the wobbly cable car, poor thing x
wow absolutely stunning park ups!!! poor janine, well done for doing the cable car, im the exact same when it comes to ferris wheels, I've become a right scared wreck now as im getting older
You sometimes have to use your hand or a stick or something in the water, move it around and then you can see the bioluminescence. But you do have to agitate the water a bit to see it.😁😁 Absolutely beautiful place!!!
Oh and Gaffa tape each side like butterfly stitches….that will take a wee bit of the pressure from the vibrations until you get it sorted. Loving vids ❤
I live in Cork and over the years have done a lot of sailing on the south west coast of Ireland. I know Lochine (Lough Hyne) and have been in and around it but have not particularly associated bioluminescence with it. Personally I have experienced that bioluminescence in the open sea in the general area of Baltimore. My understanding is that it has to do with the presence of plankton. Lochine is an inland lake which is exposed to sea tides. There is a constant interplay between the freshwater and the sea water. This is what is unique. Lochine is half sea water and half fresh water. I love your videos I drive a VW California T6 as my daily drive and any of the narrow roads / lanes you referred to would not put me off. VWT6 has the same footprint as a big car.
Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland is the largest saltwater lake in the British Isles (150 Sq Km) and will dwarf that lovely lough you visited in this video. It's almost entirely fully saline except for 2 small areas where rivers flow into it.
Oh Janine,I was with you curled up in the corner of the cable car 😂 brilliant video, how beautiful Ireland is ,thanks for the great trip, looking forward to the next one ❤
Hi, am enjoying watching your Irish trip. If you are going on the Tarbert ferry I would highly recommend going to Kilkee. There are plenty of places to park up and you really need to go back the West End to the Pollock Holes and then beyond to the cliff walk. In my opinion it's far better than the Cliffs of Moher. There's a natural amphitheatre and Kilkee is full of fascinating history. The famous print of Chè Guevara was drawn there, and one of the Bronte sisters honeymooned in a house beside Dunlicky Road, on your way to the Cliff Walk. There's too much to mention but if you get there I don't think that you will be disappointed.
i am half irish as well . Go to the place Janines mum comes from just ask the first person you meet . She will be remembered there and you will have relatives that would be amazing for you to meet . Good luck
We get bioluminescence in the Pacific Northwest of the US (not at all tropical). Beautiful! When are you are coming for a visit? I loved Ireland and am super excited about this trip. Thanks for taking us along.
What a brilliant Vlog guys ,shame about the windscreen, but it didn’t seem to affect the fantastic time that you had. Can’t wait for the next part of your 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻😃
Thanks for watching, more van life adventures in Ireland to come next week 🙌
Really hope your windscreen held up!! 😁 Xx
Great video one day I'll get to see Ireland when you go west from any part of the UK the first USA state you come to is Alaska
This was amazing to watch. I live in ireland, and you have shown me places that i didn't know even existed like Lake Hyne..I will be making a visit in my own van..thanks so much for sharing your fun filled experience 😀 great craic ❤
It's so beautiful down in that South West part, and not many people about 💖
Another stunning video . I love the uncrowded roads in southern Ireland. The scenery is stunning and the local people are some of the kindest and best people I've ever met anywhere.
Ah that's very kind. 🥰Am glad you enjoyed your trip here and you're welcome back any time. Greetings from Waterford on the South East coast.
What a beautiful, magical trip! And you both seemed to enjoy it so much (except for the rickety cable car😂😂😂) that it was contagious... Thanks for taking us along🙏😊
😅😅😅 that cable car 🚡 was death defying
@@ThoseHappyDaysomg yes it seemed like it! 😅 Especially with its tiny lock and its daring driver🙈
My Sunday morning relaxing and watching you two lovelies. Perfect, you are my happy place!
Good morning!

Wonderful video! Glad you get to see this beautiful country and document it. 🎉❤

I know that I'm a massive nerd but if you travel due West from Ireland you'll end up in Canada (Newfoundland). Florida is WAAAY south.
Very inspiring video guys. Funny in the cable car😂
Great Videos......Keep us informed when you may be back in Dublin......

Absolutely Beautiful!! Thank you Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you! 😊
Don't worry about the windscreen just keep your eye on it it might creap a bit bigger but it should be ok till you get back
Nice, Charles Fort, Kinsale great spot for a Wild Camping.
Winscreen damage should be covered within the rental package. But I’m absolutely petrified of driving a rental vehicle for this exact reason. I nearly laughed myself of the sofa when Liam threw coleslaw on a pig 🐷 😂😂😂
Yeah right I guess they just need to crack on .
It's such a pane when the windscreen goes....
@TripsandFeasts1 sorry to hear that , hope boss is paying 🙏
@TripsandFeasts1 congratulations with the amazing car and great it can be fixed payed by bossman. Hope no more issues will arise out there on the roads
You were very brave, Janine, going on that cable car at all. Not sure I would have done.
Epic drone footage! xx

Really enjoyed this instalment
Sincere apologies for falling about laughing at the cable car section!!!
Great video. Much enjoyed.
Glad you enjoyed it 😂😂
lovely trip today, i wouldnt worry about the crack unless it gets bigger, right what Liam said, you went there for the craic ha ha ha ha , i did feel for you on the wobbly cable car, poor thing x
I had a crack on my windshield for a few years so nothing to worry driving with it.
wow absolutely stunning park ups!!! poor janine, well done for doing the cable car, im the exact same when it comes to ferris wheels, I've become a right scared wreck now as im getting older
The bioluminescence usually occurs in September when the water is warmest, all along the southwest coast
The cracks fine, I drove around in my work van with a crack bigger than that on my works van for six months and it wasn't a maher issue.
You sometimes have to use your hand or a stick or something in the water, move it around and then you can see the bioluminescence. But you do have to agitate the water a bit to see it.😁😁 Absolutely beautiful place!!!
We did WAW a couple of years ago in large Motorhome great fun, did Belfast to Skibereen took over 5 weeks superb.
Epic landscapes!! Looks amazing
Is that Miami over there? Not quite Liam: 51 North latitude is equivalent to Labrador Canada.
Oh and Gaffa tape each side like butterfly stitches….that will take a wee bit of the pressure from the vibrations until you get it sorted. Loving vids ❤
Thanks for the tip!

Wild and scary west 😂 looks fabulous
I'm glad you changed your title. Nice travel video
Another fab video xx love Ireland xx
Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland is the largest saltwater lake in the British Isles (150 Sq Km) and will dwarf that lovely lough you visited in this video. It's almost entirely fully saline except for 2 small areas where rivers flow into it.
Omg Ireland is so beautiful. I love it
Awesome spot, you lucky buggers. Love you lots. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚🙏
Also l hope you went to Donegal, where my dad came from. Looking fwd to seeing footage of Horn Head and Mallin head 🤞🇨🇮🇨🇮

Well done Janine, I know that fear but just the same… I do it anyway because the regret of missing an opportunity is even worse!
I so felt for Janine going over to the island in that cable car.....I really felt like I was inside it with you guys!...SCARY AS! xx
i am half irish as well . Go to the place Janines mum comes from just ask the first person you meet . She will be remembered there and you will have relatives that would be amazing for you to meet . Good luck

I'm glad you made that joke about Irish 'crack'! It's so beautiful over there, reminds me of the wild bits south Devon! Take care guys 😀🌼 xxx
How wonderful! My goodness gracious! Thank you for sharing! Janine cracks me up! That was hilarious!
Welcome to cork , have an amazing time
Thank you! Will do!
This has made me determined to visit Ireland. What stunning scenery, just beautiful. Great video as always 😊
You should!
