  • Hey y'all! So I finally got my hysto done a couple days ago. Decided to make a video describing my experience with the surgery. Overall it went really smoothly and I'm happy with how everything went.
I hope you are all doing well and thank you for watching!

I love hearing your laugh again! It’s always been such a sweet one. Before T and after. I’m 21 now but I’ve been watching your videos since I was 12. I’m happy you still remember to post and update us (: I had a lapro surgery also and I had the same thing with the air migrating. My back and shoulders hurt like a bitch for a couple days. Anyways, take it easy!! Can’t wait to hear from you again!

I dreamed during my top surgery I didn't feel sick but took stuff before it. I knew from a surgery before that I almost got sick so I knew a head of time. I felt a bit sick after my hysto but they gave me stuff for that. For my hysto I was twice as scared but I am so glad I got it done. I had the double mastectomy as well but I found that no big deal I was not as fearfull.

I just have to ask why? Your uterus and ovaries were perfectly healthy. Unless they had started to atrophy which could have been avoided if you went off T and since you pass I don’t see how that would be a problem. I would love to hear why if you disagree with that.
Where does this compulsory need to alter yourselves come from? Is it because your uteruses and ovaries are female and you want to disintegrate everything that is female about you? Couldn’t that be a sign that we’re actually moving backwards when it comes to gender identity vs expression?

Well I never planned on going off of testosterone because it's kind of the life I want to live. To be male and have male hormones in my body and to continue to. If I had kept my ovaries and uterus, there's a high chance I could have developed cancers by keeping them. And I started to develop cysts on my ovaries as well. So in the end it's a better health option for me to remove them. I honestly had no issues with keeping them if it wouldn't have been a health concern.

@@TaylorOKeefe2214 fair point and I’ve talked to a lot of trans guys who says the same. But I don’t understand why you feel the need to have testosterone in your system instead of oestrogen when it comes with such a great sacrifice. Because surely T isn’t what makes you male?
I’m not judging I’m just trying to understand and I wish you all the best.

@@_sofie yeah of course. It's hard to see someone's perspective when you're not in the same situation. And I appreciate you being genuine with your questions and opinions.
It's a matter of comfortability and not all transguys feel the need to medically transition and I highly admire that, but for me, I needed to have the effects of testosterone to fully feel like my genuine self and to be seen as male. For my mental health, I needed that.
And like I said with the hysto, I had no problem keeping those parts because honestly they are inside my body and it makes no difference to me, but I couldn't risk the health factors. And even cis women gets hystos and Oophorectomies all the time for health reasons. It's a very common surgery

Yikes, you presume a lot there. As someone else pointed out, there are plenty of cis women or enby folks who get them removed too. I had no desire to ever have kids, and periods suck and hurt, and my organs were causing me a lot of pain. It's a very personal decision.
