Is the Bird Dating game still around? I remember finding that browsing some online store (Switch, probably?) early in the pandemic… like, March early… didn’t buy it, and now whenever I go look I can’t find it. Also sorta surprised that Bird Law game wasn’t on this list, but I guess you probably don’t wanna go to bird-heavy when you’re capping the list at ten.
Kid Dracula isn't a parody, it's just a cute spin-off. If you want to include a parody of Castlevania, there's Infernax and the recently announced Transylvania Adventures of Simon Quest
Conker's bad Fur Day was the shish back in the day we need a reboot now but not that crap that they did b4 that destroyed the title. I enjoyed the multiplayer as well as the story mode
I don’t think you guys know what parody/ lampoon means… Only Jazzpunk belongs on this list. The other games didn’t set out to make fun of anyone / anything. Hatoful Boyfriend does not belong here at all. If you find it funny, that’s fine but it never set out to be funny at all. You may find these games paradoxically funny when you compare them to the industry, but only Jazzpunk shifted its story to be intentionally making fun of the spy genre. Normally you guys are really smart about this.
Not all parodies are setting out to make fun of something in a negative way as you are implying. “an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect.” These games definitely qualify as a parody in my opinion.

Did they go into a genre setting out to satirize it, lampoon, or mock it? it's deliberate or no by the video's explanations that things changed in the development cycle. The outcome may be silly, but the intent was not a "deliberate exaggeration for comic intent". Only one, Jazzpunk, had that intention all along after they found it was too funny not to. Reply if you like, I'm not going to further...

The best thing about Hatoful Boyfriend actually is that a lot of dating sim fans consider it one of the best games of the genre
It’s genuinely really good. I played it thinking it’d be a joke for an hour or two and then got actually attached to the story

Bad fur day was the sh*t. So many different multiplayer modes.
Favorite was probably the dinosaur vs caveman one.
