- 08/18/91 - Nirvana meet up with Craig Montgomery, John Silva and David Markey at Los Angeles Airport at 10.30am to fly to Heathrow in England.
08/19/91 - They arrive at Heathrow at 7.30am and meet up with Sonic Youth and travel to Wales on two coaches to catch the ferry to Ireland.
08/20/91 - Nirvana start a two week European tour with Sonic Youth at Sir Henry's Pub in Cork, Ireland. The two bands stay at the inn attached to the club.

Kurt is an irish person . It’s not a coincidence playing in ireland. It was not his will. It was an Irish gene that trying to be back their home. Music was just the tool to be back where his gene was.
He said in an interview that when he visited Cork, Ireland, he felt more emotional and at peace than he ever had been, and was nearly crying when walking through the towns. The Irish people have always had generations of warriors with strong voices, and I have no doubt that Kurt was one of them. In that greenhouse, the week he died: He should have talked to Pat, Dave and Krist and other friends and gone back to rehab; divorced his wife and gotten rid of his toxic relationship, (something he was already going to do); split the band up and move to Ireland in an old cottage or something; Spend time away from the fame and spot light, and sit with some friends and a guitar instead of shooting himself in the head. Start a solo career maybe. Stupid move Kurt, but you will forever be missed.
Some of the best live vocals ever by Kurt. Surprising that the estate hasn't bought the tape for a live album or something for the future................
