Hey! So, final episode of Minecraft!
I've not reealllly played any minecraft for quite a while and knew this series was still left open so had to come back and at least finish it in some way. My older boy, my boy sausage, he moved on to Terraria a few months back so doesn't watch so much Minecraft these days so me ending this series wont, I imagine, be too noticed (even if I didn't fight a warden).
But hey it was enjoyable while it lasted. I wish Minecraft had more content and that single player was a bit better planned (linking progression to RNG generation while providing no better way to manage distance - horses are unreliable and the elytra + fireworks are in the end game), makes me wish they had a Magic Mirror too & backpacks but it is what it is. Mojang seem consistent on adding very little over long time periods whilst engaging in stupid things like mob votes to keep 2/3 players upset and removing fireflies.
Thanks to everyone who came with me for my time in Minecraft and let's see what the future holds!

Congrats on successfully beating the enderdragon, TSDS, and without the bed strat. (It's a bit like nuking a mosquito. It does the job, but really, it lacks finesse.) I couldn't have scaffolded up in the middle of nowhere like you did, that was pretty gutsy! I hope your son has noticed by now. What with the endermen roaming around the fight is fraught with difficulty, and remains the only way you can say you've beaten the game. And you got me fair in the feels with the sunset ending. How mean...

Yeah I've seen people use beds somehow and hit the dragon more with melee but I was really concerned about getting knocked back high in the air and dying to fall damage. Also didn't know that it apparently it's immune to arrows when it lands.
It always feels a bit sad for myself too when a series ends and I look back on the memories. Sunset was happenstance but made a good ending for sure! Who knows, if my son gets back into Minecraft more and keeps bugging me I might continue but at least this is a potentially decent stopping point for anyone else who happened to be watching 😅

Thanks! And yeah let's see. He watched the previous episode and complained that 'i just spent the whole time looking for the stronghold' ...well I mean he's not wrong 😅
It was probably a good time to close this series as I've asked a couple of times if he wants to see me fight the ender dragon and he's said no, so I don't think I'm quite able to compete with some of the larger content creators (who seem to make at least a liiiitttle bit more child-targeted videos). But hey maybe one day!
It's all about Terraria these days but he can't watch my series because I swear in it, and I wont make a second series for him just yet as one Terrraria playthrough at a time is enough (despite his requests) :D
