This was BY FAR the most ambitious project I have taken on thus far. I've clocked in over 100 hours in the making of this video (no playing included in that, literally just editing, scripting, etc.) and I'm not entirely sure how well received it will be. Please let me know what you liked, didn't like and what can be improved because it was really difficult for me to organize this one and I feel like I need some help from you all in making videos like these better in the future. Thank you for hanging in here, we are finally done and can MOVE ON! WOOHOO :D
I've been watching since episode one and have seen every video you've posted since. From the consistency of your content and the amount of effort you put into Bannerlord is beyond impressive. With this first speedrun done, take a well deserved break man! Don't let yt and Bannerlord get in the way of your health.
It is an impressive video and I'm staggered just imagining how much work you had to put in it to reach such a high production value. Especially the part after minute 14, with all the animations and sounds to put on the map. I can't speak for all your community, but I felt that was a bit too much nonetheless : past a certain point, you can't hide the fact that bannerlord battles get very repetitive especially when it's killing another 800 army miraculously spawned from a 0 fief faction. But I don't know how you could improve that, except by using a lot of moding which is unfortunately not on point yet in bannerlord.
I can't think of anything substantial, aka, things other than personal preference. (Like changing some sounds, or mixing them differently, and who knows if changes I personally would make on that front would be an improvement for anyone other than myself? I don't. )
I think you should work on developing a reusable framework that will work for all of your videos to reduce time commitment and increase output. I like the animations, and you did a great job with them.
Seeing how close bannerlord is close to being fully completed, alot of people will come back and your channel is going to a very frequented channel, you really deserve at the very least 100k subs by the end of this year
Yeah I think once we hit full release there will be a lot more people coming back :) I'm really hoping so! I really appreciate all the support from everyone, especially the regulars like yourself! Thank you so much :D
I really hope it's complete soon. I really want the steam workshop (also to figure out how the cheats work and to somehow get the graphics to be better)
Thank you! It's certainly satisfying to see the map painting :) As an EU4 player it was cool to see something similar for Bannerlord. I'm going to try to implement this into other campaigns as well, but maybe break it up so that it's not just 10 minutes straight of map changing lol
This was an extremely well-edited video. I rarely comment on videos, but this was a hell of an experience and you deserve full props. If you keep this kind of work up, you'll definitely grow to be one of the biggest youtube channels in this genre with the likes of ItalianSpartacus and such. Keep up the good work
Thank you! I spent way too much time on this one to be honest lol but I think it was worth it in the end. I really appreciate you helping with the algorithm, especially with a video like this that will not get the same attention as the guides (but took 4x the time/work to produce lol). I'm really hoping so!! It's only been 7 months but we are catching up quickly :D
Thank you for watching! T feel like it was more challenging to make and edit this video lol I think the gameplay was about 60 hours or so? And the editing took 100! :P
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback and I'm glad this one didn't disappoint! I probably spent way too much time on it, but I learned a lot so I consider it an investment in my education :)
Thank you for sticking with it!! I'm so thankful for all the support from everyone, it's nice to see people watching the non-guide content as well since they are a bit more fun for me to make :D
Thank you! Yeah it took me about 25 hours in total to figure out how to do it, take screen shots, stitch them together, get the name tags up and color in the starting lands. I think I'm going to redo it though, I would like to see more defined borders for each fief so I don't have to manually do it each time. It will take more time, but in the long run it's just a matter of changing color for that layer rather than drawing them manually. I'll probably do a more zoomed in map too, this was was about 4 screenshots tall and 2 or 3 wide if I recall? I would like to get more detail for those campaigns that aren't WC and most of the action will be from a zoomed in perspective.
@@Strat-Guides have you looked into the mod tools? Maybe you can open the map there. I'm on Linux and while game compatbility via wine/proton is steadily getting better, especially for Steam, mod tools and the like often don't work as well. So, I can't give any pointers, other than 'it might give you a fully viewable, clean, map'
Interesting, that's a good idea and I didn't consider that. I've used it a couple times to make custom maps for the tactics guide but I didn't think about looking at the main campaign map. Thanks, I'll look into it!!
The amount of time spent on that high-quality editing just shows how much you care about your community. This video, with the battlefield tactics videos definitely helped a lot of people with their own campaigns. Good job strat!
Thank you! I did this one as a "thank you" to everyone who watched the full series :) It definitely wasn't worth it from a channel growth point of view since I could have made 2 or 3 guides in the same amount of time, but I really appreciate everyone's support and I wanted to show it
As an avid crusader kings player who's all about nice and clean borders, that map painting montage was absolutely glorious and satisfying to watch! Amazing job dude, have my sub
For anyone who wants to know the combination of choices to get the build at 1:15, it is: Urban merchants your way with people caring for horses. rode with the scouts. you treated people well.
I never played Bannerlord nor did I have any curiosity in doing so but your channel has made me a fan of the game and now I play everyday! Ty for the infos your provide.
@@Strat-Guides To be honest didn’t actually think you were going to reply because of the amount of comments. I’m just starting to watch the playlist for this playtrough to understand more about the game. And you have the understanding and editing knowledge to be a great gaming channel!
@14:09 I was ready to be mad that we didn't get to see the details of the world conquest, only to be DELIGHTED that you've got a whole playlist of it! Love your work so far (I'm 8 episodes into the playlist), your hard work shows!
Hehe that was the part that took the longest, I couldn't leave that out :) I'm going to try to integrate the story/tips in with the map next time so it's easier to follow. Thank you for watching this series! All the support really helps since these get a lot less views than the guides, but they are much more fun to put together for me :P
Subbed less than 5 minutes in. The amount of concise information that was accurately and cleanly presented as well as the great editing earned my like, sub and comment :) keep it up!! I’ll be taking a lot of this into account for my newest run
Man, you are awesome, your work after the first video of yours that I watched about(Polearm Perks) became my LookUpTo material and Wiki about the best practices in the game, for 10 years I haven't seen anything like this on the whole RUclips which is absolutely incredible! I've been lurking on the channel for quite some time but this video specifically is like the 8th wonder of the Bannerlord. Thank you a whole lot and I wish you and your channel to thrive, love your work
Thank you! I'm working on another world conquest video like this one right now, but much much improved and an even tougher challenge :) I should have it ready before next week
Amazing gameplay brother, thanks for all the hardwork, I have 1300 hours in-game and undestand all the concepts you talk about in your videos buts ive also learned so much. Thanks again, great content and very entertaining. =)
I don't usually comment, but this video was marvelous to watch. They all are, but this one touched a really special place in my heart, in particular with the Kingdom Come: Deliverance music. Thank you for your efforts to the bannerlord community. We love you!
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I know this one wasn't worth it from a channel growth point of view (I could have done 3 guides in the same time that get 2x the views each lol), but I really wanted to do something special for everyone that stuck with the series as a thank you.
Awesome to see the culmination of this whole saga in such a neatly packed knowledge present :D Nice touch with the music! Of every Bannerlord CC I've seen, you continue to provide the quality and flavour I enjoy most :D keep up the good work!
Thank you!! It's been a few months in the making, but we finally got there. I always wanted to put some of that music in videos, but couldn't find the appropriate spot to do it and this seemed like the right time :) I really appreciate that! I put a lot of time and effort into it so It's nice to see people enjoying it.
@@Strat-Guides I also want to say that I'm glad to see you experimenting with different ideas in your content! Like that map you made? Super cool and unique :D
@@meili4790 Yeah I was really hoping the devs would add something like that to the game. Maybe after they see this they might consider it :) I doubt it, but we can dream! lol
Thank you for watching! Yeah it's really hard to tell exactly what's going on in the edited videos, so I think I'll try to integrate the map earlier on in the next play through. It's hard to get perspective when I'm bouncing around everywhere quickly lol
Every now and then, I come back to this guide, while I don't follow it step by step, I often use it as a solid base for a lot of my runs. Thanks for your hard work Strat! :)
@@Strat-Guides looking forward to it! There were several perk changes up to this time, and would love to see a bit more in-depth insight just for perks only. Also would love to see a guide for campaign, since main quest changes things a bit, and also in a campaign with birth and death enabled!
i cant afford bannerlord so I make my own map painting conquor in a drawing app. Seeing what you did and combining it with bannerlord made me smile, thank you
Thank you! Yeah this one was crazy to put together, but I think it turned out okay in the end :) There were a few mistakes, but just like the post review on the campaign, I took notes for how to edit the next one better!
Great video!! I have been playing Bannerlord like crazy on the console I am on my 3rd full playthrough and have put in probably 250 hours of gameplay. It is such an addicting game. Part of the fun for me is building relationships with the nobles. It is so satisfying to hear them say "What are you saying exactly?" lol but on this current playthrough, I am definitely going to promote my companions right away after creating my kingdom, since I haven't tried that before. I usually just give them their own castle at the end of the game after I have conquered everything, haha.
That land bridge between Ortysia/Garontor castle and Quyaz/Tubilis castle being captured without any back and forth brings joy to me. In my own campaign, it has been hotspot over 3 years now and I am too stubborn to quit on it.
Yeah I was a little surprised they didn't go after it very hard! Usually they swarm it hard but I guess they were busy elsewhere? It's such a good land bridge to hold. Once an enemy army crosses, there is no way back home :D
Wow Sébi, thank you so much for the support! I really appreciate it - I've recently hired an editor and website designer so this will certainly help with that! :D
@@Strat-Guides You're very welcome :) Is everything still up to date with this guide for 1.9/tomorrow's release? I know smithing has been reworked but that's fine. Also, would you replace scouting with tactics in this kind of playthrough? I think I'll use it as a base for my next campaign once the full release is out
Thank you! I just spent 20+ hours updating the map to make it even better lol The video I'm editing right now uses it extensively and I think I have a better format for using it. It should be ready by tomorrow morning! Thanks for watching
I loved the time-lapse of the world conquest ! It's so interesting to see the events pan out like that, you have better understanding of how the wars happened, at times precise and calculated but sometimes utter chaos haha~ Well done ! Here's hoping we get some other playthrough like this one in the future. :-)
That's a great description! At times it was surgical strikes, taking out exactly which fief I wanted to and getting out before they retaliated. But other times it was like being in a moshpit lol Thank you! I'm working on the next playthrough already, but I want to get a few episodes recorded and edited before I start releasing them because I'm moving soon and won't have time to do anything for a week or two so I'm hoping to space those out to help bridge the gap :) Thank you so much for watching this series! I really appreciate the support.
this really did a great job of condensing the information provided in the full world conquest series while also adding your thoughts on the project as a whole. I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll see this. Great stuff, man
Thank you! I'm glad it wasn't a drag lol I know watching a full let's play can get bogged down towards the end since it's very repetitive so I did my best to make it less grind-y. I appreciate your support!
Great recap! I'm glad I stuck around and watched the entire playthrough, it was very enjoyable. The map painting part's simply incredible, I'm very impressed by your effort. I wonder how different/difficult would the speedrun become if you had death enabled.
Thank you! I'm glad you stuck with it too :) It was a fun one for sure. For the next series I plan on integrating the map editing from the start, so it should be easier to follow along each episode. It's easy to get lost when you're zoomed in and watching a highly editing play through! I was thinking about this as well - starting at age 50 would not have worked out but I think maybe 30 or 40 would be fine. There were a lot of extra attribute and focus points that were spent on irrelevant categories so I think the build would have been the same in the end (just a little slower to get there). My biggest concern is companions dying in battle since we used them for all intelligence skills. I rarely play with death disabled so it was a little strange getting used to not seeing dead nobles after battle lol
So I ended up accidentally conquering the world in about 11 years. Basically I reached clan level 3 after doing only blacksmithing and selling from the first single year and had infinite money to recruit Vlandian Champions and Battanian Fian's. Then I ran up to sturgia and conquered a castle and just kinda took like 30 1v1's until their entire Empire was in prison. From there I took every sturgian city with my 160 army stack. I had maxed out my charm so when I became a independent kingdom there was nothing left to do besides recruit all of the sturgian nobles to my side.... Idk what really happened next to be honest. My faction just kinda steam rolled Vlandia and I recruited their nobles as well. The remaining half of the game I coulda been afk because having those 2 factions nobles on my side made the game incredibly balanced in my favor. every battle from there was just a wash
Thank you! Yeah this video was like a 2 week project working full time (about 100 hours in total). I really learned a lot making this one too so it was fun :D
Making another attempt to get Calradia conquered by a faction of my choice. Tried being a vassal under all factions now going for a different approach which so far is going well. I am an Imperial mercenary who helps the Imperial factions retain their Imperial territory against the non-imperial factions. I started with Northern Empire but have not worked for them since. Mostly work with Western Empire but signed up with the Southern Empire to defend Amprela against a Sturgian Army which was a success. Plan is to help the Imperial factions out until someone wins the civil war then join them to conquer what is still not in Imperial hands. By the looks of it unsurprisingly that is going to be the Southern Empire. They have taken the majority of the Khanate and have two extra clans thanks to rebellions. They surround the Khuzait now only a matter of time before they take it all. Currently focusing on keeping Vlandia contained in the West but want to take back Epicrotia after the vassal there defected to Sturgia. At least Dey Rothad joined the Western Empire. We forced them back into Vlandia earlier and now fighting to keep it that way. If everything goes to shit was planning on rallying a new kingdom myself with other Imperial clans but that definitely won't happen.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad there is interest outside of just Bannerlord players :D Yeah this video took forever to make lol just over 100 hours, but I really learned a lot so it was worth it!
I love using your guides for my MULTIPLE rerolls, but I am always so frustrated cause I still cannot master the: 1v100 with no clothes and a cheap two hander/bow!! 🤣 You are 100% the best so keep making whatever kinds of bannerlord vids you want they are always awesome, educational, and inspiring!
Hahaha the ole naked horse archery technique :) It takes a bit of getting used to because those rock throwing looters are so accurate! Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
Your "Friedrich der Große" was actually pretty good and quite sneaky choosing Poverty And Famine by Jan and Adam and even The Hu for your conquest phase *g*
It really depends on the difficulty you are playing on. On easy mode, you just need strategy and auto-resolve battles, kill all nobles and get the whole map in your name in 5 years. On maximum-difficulty, this becomes exponentially difficult with lords just not wanting to be a part of your kingdom and you having to rely on your 1500 troops most of the time
Yeah for sure. I was trying to keep this one clean with no exploits and no executions (it's a bit cheesy in my opinion, which I have nothing against for other people to do it but I don't find it fun personally). This campaign was played out on Bannerlord difficulty.
Wow this is honestly my most watched channel! sending you likes and comments for all your effort! Seriously animating the little perk choices is just one of the tiny details I've come to love about this channel!
Thank you for that!! I need to pick up the volume a bit still, but that will come with time. I'm in the middle of planning a move so once that's all done it should be better :) For sure, it's much easier to see what's going on with moving highlights (especially since I keep the pace of these videos so high). They used to take forever, but I've literally done it over 1000 times at this point so I can knock them out pretty fast.
Huuge respect! For best tutorial out of the many grinders I know this is the best and I tweaked it a little bit to my style and sped it up a little bit
Finally the mighty algorithm recommended this gem of a vid to me. Anyway, I used to do this thing in Warband. So little has changed. The optimal strategy seems almost the same. Even the way you approach this problem reminds me of the way I used to do it. I'll see if you have an update, but even if not, I know what you've done and it was good!
All hail the might algorithm! Lol Thanks for watching, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it :) I didn't get a chance to play warband so I don't have that bias, it's interesting to see it's similar to Bannerlord though!
@@Strat-Guides In Warband the medicine stats and the engineering was overpowered. But after you got those maxed out, it's all very similar. Soloing for reknown, specing the companions in INT, not bothering with whack-a-mole siege defense too much, so forth. I wonder how much of a character development do you really need in order to progress the campaign. At some point I realized I can do it with starting combat stats of an extremely weak starting character. That was my fastest time.
Thank you! I'm currently rehabing a house and getting ready to move soon so my work basically halted on RUclips but I should be ready to go again late next month. I'm gonna come back with a vengeance lol!
Lol Thank you, it was a bit of a slog after the 40 hour mark but I'm glad I went through it. It was a fun project overall - definitely not a good use of time as far as growing the channel is concerned but I wanted to do it as a thank you to everyone who watched the series :) I really appreciate your support!
Thank you for watching! I appreciate the kind words :) I'm still new to RUclips, I made my first video last year around this time so I still have a lot to learn. This particular video took me about 100 hours to edit it all together and make the assets, but I learned a ton during the process!
Haha yeah I love that song! I first heard it years ago when I was watching some EU4 videos on forming Prussia and they used it. I've listened to it hundreds of times since then lol
I think besides SurrealBeliefs your bannerlord content is my favorite. I have the utmost respect for the amount of effort that went into editing this video. Hopefully the algorithm latches on and people decide to watch the Fredrick playlist as well. Lookin forward to the next campaign.
Yeah Surreal has some otherworldly ability with story telling! I definitely can't match him on that front, so I learn more on the data/guide side of things as it's more suited to my personality lol He hasn't been uploading much these last couples weeks though, hopefully he's doing okay! Thank you, yeah this one was brutal to be honest lol but I learned some new techniques that I want to use in other videos. Me too, but my main reason for making this one was a "thank you" to everyone that watched it already :) I appreciate everyone's support!
@@Strat-Guides I think that's why I gravitate towards your Bannerlord content. The analytical/min-maxing info is very specific for you, and I think you do the best job with that form of content drip. I think balancing RP with min-maxing is how to most enjoy Bannerlord. I tried an Ironman canpaign recently and was SHOCKED with how much min/maxing I was achieving previously through save scumming.
Yeah save scumming can make such a big difference. I got used to playing EU4 Ironman for achievements and got used to it, but then when Bannerlord didn't have that option I used it all the time haha Especially with marriages! Those chat checks are crazy.
Thank you!! I think the algorithm rewards volume to some degree, but I've put a lot of focus on quality. I'm hoping in the long run it's the better strategy :)
Hey Strat Gaming I wanted to say that this video series about conquering the world in Bannerlord 2 is amazing, I binged all of the videos for it. This one really inspired me to get the game and try my luck at conquering the map, your guide videos have also been a huge help. Please keep up the amazing work and I wish you many more subscribers.😄
Dude, your videos are incredible. Best Bannerlord content creator on yt by far. Thank you for the hard work. I'm going to apply all your teachings when my new video card arrives (previous fried).
Thank you for watching! I appreciate you saying that :D I'm glad the guides are helpful. I am holding off on the tactics guide until the next patch, but am working on the Amir Timur campaign, which has a ton of really interesting lessons to learn because of the crazy difficult rule set imposed. It should be interesting at least!
I enjoyed this a lot, it might not be a crowd magnet since its 27 minutes but its basicly a lection on how to cheese the game to the fullest. And the map thingy showing all conquests was sick
Lol yeah for sure, it was more of a "thank you" for everyone watching the series. It's definitely not worth doing from a channel growth stand point since I could have done 3 guides in the same amount of time (and the guides get more views each) but that's okay. Once in a while it should be done :) Thank you for watching!
Thank you! I usually do the post mort anyways so I can improve my own play, but I figured it might be helpful for others :) I appreciate your help and support with this series!! It had a lot more viewers than I was expecting.
Thank you for watching!! I'm glad it was helpful :) I plan on doing similar videos to this in the future, although I will probably try to keep them at 15 minutes or so instead of closer to 30.
Sorry for taking so long, it's been a crazy week for me. I appreciate the support and once I finish moving next month I will have tons of time to get back to putting 2 - 3 videos out per week :)
I'm back playing this game, and your channel helps me allot. You deserve more subscribers! I have a problem with attacking to conquer more and defending my terittory to the other side of the map. But will now try to sacrifice some of my teritory to annahilate one faction at a time, just what you said on the last part of the video. Thank you!
Glad to have you back! The recent couple of patches have been quite good so hopefully you have a good campaign :) I appreciate that. I think when the game goes to full release it will boost all Bannerlord channels. Yeah I think that's a good plan - it's okay to lose 1 fief if it allows you to take 3 - 4 more elsewhere. The AI isn't as efficient as the player so trading is okay sometimes.
@@Strat-Guides yeah i got back because pixelated apollo started playing it again and got curious about it since everyone saying bannerlord 2 is fully done, (started when on its first 2 to 3 weeks on steam) Then tried to search some strat, and yours are the best out of all youtubers out here. Again huge thanks for doing this!
Great work my friend. Your guides made my campaigns much more enjoyable and well played. The effort you put into this video with those animations is so cool. Keep it up mate! Wish you all the best!
Nice, I'm really happy to hear that :) My main goal is to help people get better/enjoy the game more so it's nice to see the work paying off! Thank you for all the support, I really appreciate it!
Useful info. I know a lot of time was spent on the map timeline animation but I think a semi-storied voiceover would of been more effective. Definitely the best BL2 channel on YT
My original plan was to do the map with clips from the campaign every 15 - 30 seconds with voice over but to be honest, I just ran out of time lol I was expecting to spend 30 - 40 hours on this video, but it literally took over 100 hours in total so I had to just pull the plug and post what I had. In the next campaign, I'll be doing a much better job with my time management lol Thank you so much!!!
Lol yeah this one was pretty rough to make, but a fair bit of that time went into learning how to do certain things since my current skill set at the time wasn't enough to handle it. I learned a lot though so next time around should go a bit quicker :) Thank you so much!!
Thank you! I'm going to start the next campaign this week, not sure when episode one will release but I'm starting to edit them at least. Episode one will have a lot of work for the intro, but after that they should go a bit faster.
Thank you for watching! I'm planning on using that style of map for the next play through as well, but I will integrate it from episode 1 to help tell the story better. It's always difficult to know what's going on unless you watch an unedited playthrough, but very few people have time to watch 1 hour episodes each day :P
Lol I'm redoing it again because I wasn't happy with it :P I want to use it for some guides and on all play throughs, I think it was much easier to see what was going on since the game doesn't have a good map mode to represent it. I've got more plans... :)
Thank you! I tried to find more, but I couldn't find anything good for the French lol And I just treated the Empire as the Holy Roman Empire, so Prussian Glory it is :D
Great Video, great compilation. I really liked the analytical approach and explanation why you did what in order to achieve something. Though bingewatching your channel, I still feel quite overwhelmed by the amount of perks and possibilities in-game. I hope to see more guides and possibly playthroughs as such in the future. gg
Thank you for watching! This one took forever to make, but it was really fun and I'm glad it's out there now :) Yeah it's tough to know what pick or how to start without the experience. My plans are to make similar videos to this, but using different kinds of builds. Like an auto resolve only build around tactics, or heavy intelligence build with an army that pays you, etc.
This video was so good! Great job on the map it must have been so long to make. I didn't have time to watch that much videos the past couple of months but I'm gonna catch up to your world conquest series soon :D
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Yeah it took a bit of time, but it was fun :) Nice, you get to binge instead of waiting a week per episode :D For the next series I'm thinking about recording the full thing before I start editing and releasing, that way they can come out faster.
Thank you for watching! I may need a break from WC for one series though lol it was pretty tiring at the end :P The next series is going to be quite good though, much more challenging too. I'm hoping to have the first episode up before the end of the month, but it might have to wait until next month since im about to move! I'll have a dedicated RUclips studio though, so much more production coming soon!
I already started recording the next one and it's 1000% harder lol the only thing allowed is selling loot - no trading, no workshops, no merc contracts, no ransoming troops (except a noble once in a while, but mostly they lose their head instead). It's pretty hard core!
Thank you! That part probably took the longest. I tried to animate them all in DaVinci resolve, but my 1 minute test run was going to take over 17 hours to render and the whole map part was going to be around 10 minutes, so it would have taken me over a week just to render it LOL So I had to actually do it all by hand (139 in total). Each of those maps was painted by hand and stitched together with a blending transition. I may try it again the in video editor later but on a much smaller scale so it can handle it :)
One of the greatest videos on the youtube. Just 1 problem though. Arabic Desert Kingdom Aserai declares war for the first time. Ottoman Empire songs starts playing. This triggered me more than calling yoghurt greek. Adding one.more thing: Khergit city and town names literally 1 or 2 letter diffrent then modern turkey city names. Why the mongol singing lol. Clarification: Just being funny. Really don't care. Loved the video dude. Legit the best MB bannerlord video
Thank you! Haha yeah I know it's not a perfect match as the Ottomans are from the Steppes originally and certainly not Arabic, probably much more similar to the Mongols. I think most players associate Khuzait with the Mongols though which left Ceddin Ceden for the Aserai. It's such a great song so I'm just happy to put it in! That's interesting, I didn't realize the Turkish city names were that close to the Khuzait spelling! Very cool, I need to do some research on it. Haha it's all good, I really appreciate you watching and leaving a comment :)

Don't be too hard on yourself and take a break if needed.
I think you should work on developing a reusable framework that will work for all of your videos to reduce time commitment and increase output. I like the animations, and you did a great job with them.
The map-painting section was an absolute joy to watch, kudos on the editing work.
Thank you! That means a lot coming from the dinosaur from the google page :D
I really appreciate your support!
Its like Crusader Kings but less frantic.
it would be nice to see a mod with a map like this.
@@ville8590 YES PLEASE
Seeing how close bannerlord is close to being fully completed, alot of people will come back and your channel is going to a very frequented channel, you really deserve at the very least 100k subs by the end of this year
Yeah I think once we hit full release there will be a lot more people coming back :) I'm really hoping so! I really appreciate all the support from everyone, especially the regulars like yourself! Thank you so much :D
Bannerlord is far from finished unfortunately
has there been any change since first release? The game looks exactly the same.
@@WoofyMcDoodle not really any big changes tbh
I really hope it's complete soon. I really want the steam workshop (also to figure out how the cheats work and to somehow get the graphics to be better)
There was something so nice about seeing the offensive seige animation and then watching the map turn white. This was a great series to follow.
Thank you! It's certainly satisfying to see the map painting :) As an EU4 player it was cool to see something similar for Bannerlord. I'm going to try to implement this into other campaigns as well, but maybe break it up so that it's not just 10 minutes straight of map changing lol
Hey you! You're me! Or i'm you!
You take the word rarely quite serious
Months of hard work represented in half an hour. He's on another level!

This is the best compilation of Bannerlord strategy tips and tricks I've ever seen. You've outdone yourself sir. Excellent work!
Wow, thank you!! I certainly put a lot of work into this one so I appreciate the words :)
This is a great guide. I enjoyed the whole series. Great work on the paint the map animation. The lessons learned at the end was especially helpful.
Thank you for sticking with it!! I'm so thankful for all the support from everyone, it's nice to see people watching the non-guide content as well since they are a bit more fun for me to make :D
@@Strat-Guides how did you beat bannerlord in 16 years when it's only out for 2 years
Dude, that map was amazing. I can see where all the time went. Top tier stuff man!
Thank you Mo! I came from EU4 before this so I am right there with you lol clean borders are a must :P
For anyone who wants to know the combination of choices to get the build at 1:15, it is:
Urban merchants
your way with people
caring for horses.
rode with the scouts.
you treated people well.
Thank you
That painting the map segment is fantastic. I would love a mod that calculates that automatically for each playthrough!
Thank you! Oh man, I would love a mod to do that for me as well LOL it takes forever to do :D
I never played Bannerlord nor did I have any curiosity in doing so but your channel has made me a fan of the game and now I play everyday! Ty for the infos your provide.
Hopefully it's been a good experience! I appreciate the support :)
I have no idea how I managed to play over 150h of this game without discovering your channel.
Awesome guides, you're a life saver!
You easily make one of the best bannerlord contents out here, and really make a great job telling a story. Keep up!
The fact that you called him the King IN Prussia is worth of applause in itself. Well done. Fantastic video!
We wouldn't want to upset the HRE Emperor now would we? (At least not yet lol)
Thank you for watching!
Please never stop producing Bannerlord videos so we have a high-quality Bannerlord guide ready whenever we need to.
I still have a lengthy list of topics to cover, so you're stuck with me for a while longer at least :)
Your editing and strategy is so superb to watch. Its amazing that you are not more popular this is some really fantastic stuff.
Thank you for the kind words! It means a lot :D
holy cow!, this is the best bannerlord walktrhrough yet.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your support :D
I always wanted to put some of that music in videos, but couldn't find the appropriate spot to do it and this seemed like the right time :)
I really appreciate that!
Maybe after they see this they might consider it :) I doubt it, but we can dream! lol
After watching everything unfold video by video, it was great to see that conquering map. Thanks for the fun ride
Glad it is helpful! I'm planning on updating a few things on this one soon :)
@@Strat-Guides looking forward to it! There were several perk changes up to this time, and would love to see a bit more in-depth insight just for perks only. Also would love to see a guide for campaign, since main quest changes things a bit, and also in a campaign with birth and death enabled!
Really great content. I'm sure some has changed since launch, but still very useful for a new player. Great work on bringing this together!
i cant afford bannerlord so I make my own map painting conquor in a drawing app. Seeing what you did and combining it with bannerlord made me smile, thank you
Oh cool! It's a lot of fun - especially coming from a game like EU4 where all you do is paint maps :D
Amazing effort put into this! Love the editing, and it's obvious the time put into making this a very well done video. Good stuff!
Awesome video dude! Great humor and references. Can't even explain with words how I loved it and actually you're whole goddamn Channel
Wow Sébi, thank you so much for the support! I really appreciate it - I've recently hired an editor and website designer so this will certainly help with that! :D
@@Strat-Guides You're very welcome :)
Is everything still up to date with this guide for 1.9/tomorrow's release? I know smithing has been reworked but that's fine.
Also, would you replace scouting with tactics in this kind of playthrough? I think I'll use it as a base for my next campaign once the full release is out
Subbed just for the effort alone. Very interesting stuff!
The map thing could be a video in itself. 😅
Thank you! I just spent 20+ hours updating the map to make it even better lol The video I'm editing right now uses it extensively and I think I have a better format for using it. It should be ready by tomorrow morning! Thanks for watching
Another great video. Thanks for all your hard work. And great cameo songs from KCD and Batzorig Vaanchig!
Thank you! Yeah it's hard to beat that music :) I listen to it frequently.
But other times it was like being in a moshpit lol
Thank you! I'm working on the next playthrough already, but I want to get a few episodes recorded and edited before I start releasing them because I'm moving soon and won't have time to do anything for a week or two so I'm hoping to space those out to help bridge the gap :)
Thank you so much for watching this series! I really appreciate the support.
Holy crap dude! The quality of this video is next level!
Thank you so much for watching! I put a ton of time into this one so I appreciate it :D
this really did a great job of condensing the information provided in the full world conquest series while also adding your thoughts on the project as a whole. I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll see this.
Great stuff, man
Thank you! I'm glad it wasn't a drag lol I know watching a full let's play can get bogged down towards the end since it's very repetitive so I did my best to make it less grind-y. I appreciate your support!
It's absolutely intimidating watching your incredibly amazing bow skills!
This is exquisite amount of work put into the video. I put this comment to give props to you and for the algorithm
I really appreciate the help, thank you!
Amount of work put in to this video is more than i did for some school projects. Well done man. Thanks to you i am a much better player.
Never played this game but anyone can see how much work and game knowledge goes into something like this; very impressive.
You are 100% the best so keep making whatever kinds of bannerlord vids you want they are always awesome, educational, and inspiring!
Hahaha the ole naked horse archery technique :) It takes a bit of getting used to because those rock throwing looters are so accurate!
Thank you so much, I appreciate it!
Definitively the best content creator for this game.
OTTOMAN MUSIC MAKES ME SO PROUD ❤❤
I know it's not accurate for the Aserai but I was waiting for an opportunity to put it in :)
@@Strat-Guides wow ı respect you my friend
I'm in the middle of planning a move so once that's all done it should be better :)
For sure, it's much easier to see what's going on with moving highlights (especially since I keep the pace of these videos so high). They used to take forever, but I've literally done it over 1000 times at this point so I can knock them out pretty fast.
Damn, I wasn't expecting Ceddin Deden
I am five minutes in and i am already enjoying the quality of the editing, good job!

This is the world conquest guide that I have been waiting for! Thank you for your hard work.
I'm glad it was helpful! Thank you for watching :D
I'm a direct descendant of him
Finally the mighty algorithm recommended this gem of a vid to me. Anyway, I used to do this thing in Warband. So little has changed. The optimal strategy seems almost the same. Even the way you approach this problem reminds me of the way I used to do it.
I'll see if you have an update, but even if not, I know what you've done and it was good!
All hail the might algorithm! Lol
Thanks for watching, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it :) I didn't get a chance to play warband so I don't have that bias, it's interesting to see it's similar to Bannerlord though!
This is some of the best Bannerlord content I’ve ever seen! Loved it, keep up the good work👍
Thank you! I'm currently rehabing a house and getting ready to move soon so my work basically halted on RUclips but I should be ready to go again late next month. I'm gonna come back with a vengeance lol!
Kudos, you can clearly see that an ungodly amount of work went into this. Very high quality video!
Lol Thank you, it was a bit of a slog after the 40 hour mark but I'm glad I went through it. It was a fun project overall - definitely not a good use of time as far as growing the channel is concerned but I wanted to do it as a thank you to everyone who watched the series :) I really appreciate your support!
dude for a 30k subs chanel you made a unbelievable video. I can't imagine how much effort you put in this video
Thank you for watching! I appreciate the kind words :) I'm still new to RUclips, I made my first video last year around this time so I still have a lot to learn. This particular video took me about 100 hours to edit it all together and make the assets, but I learned a ton during the process!
I am just starting the video and immediately fell in love with it, just for Prussian's Gloria at the start!
Thanks!
Oh nice, you found an oldie but goodie :D This was one of my favorite videos that I made. Thanks again for the support!!
Impressive video. It's not every day you find such a small channel with such good content.
Thank you!! I think the algorithm rewards volume to some degree, but I've put a lot of focus on quality. I'm hoping in the long run it's the better strategy :)
Best bannerlord video period
A LOT of EFFORT went into it.
Thank you!!
Thank you and good luck with your conquest!!
Once in a while it should be done :)
Thank you for watching!
The editing is top notch here, I’m inspired
Thanks!!
Insane amount of work went into this videos quality and it shows! Love your videos keep it up!
Excellent edit job and a nice post mort about the campaign! Enjoyed watching, and the reflections on how to improve are sound ones! Quality 👌
Thank you! I usually do the post mort anyways so I can improve my own play, but I figured it might be helpful for others :) I appreciate your help and support with this series!! It had a lot more viewers than I was expecting.
Love this guide. Its the only one I’ve found that tells me half this stuff. Keep up the amazing work.
Thank you for watching!! I'm glad it was helpful :) I plan on doing similar videos to this in the future, although I will probably try to keep them at 15 minutes or so instead of closer to 30.
As a turk, i lost it when the janisarry music entered with aserai war LMAO, such a great effort and awesome video as always tho !

I'm back playing this game, and your channel helps me allot.

I have a problem with attacking to conquer more and defending my terittory to the other side of the map.
But will now try to sacrifice some of my teritory to annahilate one faction at a time, just what you said on the last part of the video.
Thank you!
Glad to have you back! The recent couple of patches have been quite good so hopefully you have a good campaign :)
I appreciate that. I think when the game goes to full release it will boost all Bannerlord channels.
Yeah I think that's a good plan - it's okay to lose 1 fief if it allows you to take 3 - 4 more elsewhere. The AI isn't as efficient as the player so trading is okay sometimes.
@@Strat-Guides yeah i got back because pixelated apollo started playing it again and got curious about it since everyone saying bannerlord 2 is fully done, (started when on its first 2 to 3 weeks on steam)

Thanks for watching!
In the next campaign, I'll be doing a much better job with my time management lol
Thank you so much!!!
I was going to ask how many hours did this take but I got my answer, holy shit dude you are awesome and you deserve more!
Lol yeah this one was pretty rough to make, but a fair bit of that time went into learning how to do certain things since my current skill set at the time wasn't enough to handle it. I learned a lot though so next time around should go a bit quicker :) Thank you so much!!
I watched the whole playthrough and it's just the best bannerlord content I've seen yet. Really hope you'll do another one !
Cheers !
Thank you! I'm going to start the next campaign this week, not sure when episode one will release but I'm starting to edit them at least. Episode one will have a lot of work for the intro, but after that they should go a bit faster.
That kingdome come music hit diferent, it bringed me such good memories, really enjoyed the vid
Thanks for watching! KCD music is the best :)
Extremely informative and a delight to watch.
Thanks for watching!
Dude used a kingdom come song, I see you are man with culture, great game! Good video too
damn map thats some high quality content, thx man i was looking for this type of video
Thank you for watching! I'm planning on using that style of map for the next play through as well, but I will integrate it from episode 1 to help tell the story better. It's always difficult to know what's going on unless you watch an unedited playthrough, but very few people have time to watch 1 hour episodes each day :P
I can't believe you built your own map just for this. Absolutely insane.
Lol I'm redoing it again because I wasn't happy with it :P I want to use it for some guides and on all play throughs, I think it was much easier to see what was going on since the game doesn't have a good map mode to represent it. I've got more plans... :)
Loved the music that played based on the kingdom being conquered. Fantastic video and a great recap of a great series!
This one took forever to make, but it was really fun and I'm glad it's out there now :)
Yeah it's tough to know what pick or how to start without the experience. My plans are to make similar videos to this, but using different kinds of builds. Like an auto resolve only build around tactics, or heavy intelligence build with an army that pays you, etc.
Enjoyed every second! Great vid my friend!
Thank you for watching! I really had fun with this series and already started recording the next one :D
This video was so good! Great job on the map it must have been so long to make. I didn't have time to watch that much videos the past couple of months but I'm gonna catch up to your world conquest series soon :D
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Yeah it took a bit of time, but it was fun :) Nice, you get to binge instead of waiting a week per episode :D
For the next series I'm thinking about recording the full thing before I start editing and releasing, that way they can come out faster.
Let's go for the second world conquest!!! Keep doing the amaizing job you do.
@@Strat-Guides that's amaizing, greetings from Argentina!
@@Strat-Guides Man do a series without spaming the smithing lol
I already started recording the next one and it's 1000% harder lol the only thing allowed is selling loot - no trading, no workshops, no merc contracts, no ransoming troops (except a noble once in a while, but mostly they lose their head instead). It's pretty hard core!
@@Strat-Guides nice job :D
Very well made video, loved the map animation!
Truly well done and well documented, what a great video.
Wow such a beautiful well edited infomative video, thanks
Thank you, I spent a ton of time on this one so I appreciate you noticing :)
