  • My first boat ever was 1972 19’ Mako that my Dad and neighbor went in together on to give me a boat to start fishing on knowing how much I loved it. Needless to say, Mako boats will always have a special place in my heart.
At the 2024 Miami Boat Show I stopped in at the Bass Pro Shops Boating Center booth to get a quick tour of their 18’ Mako flats boat. What a great boat with plenty to offer for the inshore enthusiasts! With dealerships nation wide, customer service is a breeze! Enjoy the video and be sure to subscribe to our channel for exciting new content every week!!

Perfect Florida inshore boat! I watched my neighbor use his constantly in the Indian River with zero complaints. Thinking this is the one.

I have one and i have a couple of complaints you should be aware before buying the boat.
1 it's very small and the passenger capacity is very low . 600 lbs. Max 3 angler. Forget about this boat for family purposes.
2 the deck will fill up with water because the water from the scupper will get in the boat when you back up or have too much weight in the back. You will have to get a scupper plug to stop the water from flooding the deck. Not good if you leave the boat out and it rains .
3 trailer bunks brackets will rust very bad
4 the boat does not have integrated navigation lights
Quality is ok but after owning one for 1 year I sure wish I had bought a bigger boat.
If you're in a budget look into the tidewater 1910 bay boat.

@@k.tanaka1866 Everything this guy says is true. I will say as a fisherman though I have fished mine hard 250 hours in and it is extremely versatile. Handles chop very well crossing big water and gets just as skinny as high dollar flats boats such as a maverick. Mine has the poling platform and I use it a lot for fly fishing.

@@k.tanaka1866 Thank you, the tidewater 1910 looks like the better boat for me.
