Lunasa has a new album. Live in Kyoto is a beautiful album recorded in Japan. Lunasa are currently touring the USA and have special guest Daoiri Farrell with them for the first half of the tour.

There is nothing better than Irish folk music being played live in a small hall, pub, a large concert hall, outside at a festival, at a party of friends or just to one man, woman, child and a dog, Irish music is soul music, I recall the very great Phil Lynott saying that the music of Thin Lizzy was folk music, it was about the people and one day it would be played in that manner. Ahh, the greatest! Love me some Lunasa! Love the lads! I will be out of pocket when they come to New Mexico this year, unfortunately. Great band to hear live and they are friendly to the fans! Play on!!!
