Ive got the fecon head and the rotary mower head. Ive ran them both a lot. In my opinion the rotary mower head works amazing for smaller diameter material and is going to save you alot on fuel and maintenance is very simple. The fecon heads definitely have there place as well however they work your machine alot harder and the maintenance is alot more you also have very limited reach with the fecon head vs the rotary mower head. In many cases the rotary mower will out preform the fecon head if you getting paid by the acre.
I'm in the market for a Fecon but I think I'm getting the BK6218 so as I'm backing up I know the Blackhawk can get between anything the machine can get between. Is there not a better way to get a mulcher without having to bring my machine to you for tuning. ??
30 Gallons is 110 litres, I’ve been seeing a large drum muncher only need around 40-50 litres per minute? I didn’t even know you could get a track loader that could produce 100+ litres per minute. I’ve got a lot to learn.
The rotary is cheaper but the processed material pieces are bigger and look less finished. The drum or forest mulcher produces finer material. The happy medium is a disc mulcher.
Fyi with my Fecon mulching head I've found car wheels T post even a pile of car drive shafts and have never broken a tooth. Now my rotary mower 1 4inch steel post and broke the blade I'll keep my Fecon.
Need to show diffference between disk cutters and disk mulchers.

Typical attachment salesman. Tell me the X stands for…”Extreme!” But doesn’t tell me the price.
