Way better than Top Gear reviews! There is a 90s or even 80s vibe about the narration and video editing. Which isn't a bad thing. I agree, this channel deserves more interest and subscribers. "Build it and they will come.", they said. Looking forward to upcoming videos! 👍👌😎
Instantly subbed, where has this channel been all my life?!?!? Edit: placed my comment too early. This has to be the most thorough car review channel going on youtube. You are a great presenter clearly, and the video is paced like good old tv now modern overacted adhd garbage. You hit everything everyone wants to know, the common annoyances, but how it handles on the skidpad, track, and the road. Im truly impressed, you have nailed the formula and I'm excited to see this channel grow. Now I'm on the binging the channel, thankfully my shoe obsession led me here lol. It does in fact make a great daily driver, even with 180k miles, a list of previous owners that neglected the poor thing, and the 2.8l. Still the most enjoyable daily I've ever driven. PS: Good old glovebox sag due to the US crash test requiring a heavy steel panel to be placed in the glove box door for a passengers knees in the event they weren't belted in. Such a shame its ruined so many box doors including mine that is now full of self tapping screws from the PO :(
Damn, this channel WILL have 1.000.000+ subscribers in the future, so glad I found it now, when it starts from the beginning. Good luck and all the best wishes from Germany 🤙
Wow! Excellent review and Chanel ! I own this Z3 3.0l Coupe from 2001 with style 32 rims (it's the 2nd one I owned before I had the 2.8 from 1999 for 10 years) and I can say that it's a great pleasure to drive it ! I lives in France and the roads in a small town are very bad but the car remains comfortable, and the power as well as the torque with the Vanos system is excellent! very easy to maintain and reliable engine. The M54 consumes a little oil (maybe 1L/1000kms BMW tolerance) but everything is fine on this car! if you are hesitant to buy it, don't hesitate too much because someone will buy it before you!
Awesome review as always! I once owned a Z3 convertible and it did feel pretty flexy, even though it was still a fun car. I've always been curious about these clownshoe coupes and this video makes me want one (just like this, I dont need the M spec!).
Great review of our beloved elf hearse, I have owned mine for 16,5 years now and driven it almost 200000kms myself. I manufacture aircraft quality billet rear shock access hatches which makes adjusting or removing rear shocks a 5 second breeze instead of 4 hours of sweat. Another parts are too available including brake cooling vents, ramair parts, fronf splitter and rear diffuser. All actually working and OEM+ in design and craftmanship. High speed lightness that you feel is exactly that, rear floor of the car with rear bumper is generating tons of lift, It can be remedied and I have remedied that completely into making downforce instead and it transforms the car. ps. Steering rate is the exact same in all coupes M or not. pps. Excellent music choises through out. (Yes I am biased as techno dj too. :D)
Sweet! That sounds like an obvious upgrade for Coupe owners! Great explanation on the rear lift, makes total sense and interesting about the steering. 2001 BMW press kit says the non-M Z3's (Coupe and Roadster) share the same 15.4:1 steering rack. I was under the impression that the M cars had the 13.9:1 steering rack www.press.bmwgroup.com/usa/article/detail/T0021978EN_US/press-kit-my-2001:-bmw-z3-series:-new-engines-a-new-transmission-and-upgraded-standard-equipment-add-excitement-to-classic-sports-cars?language=en_US
I have both the coupe 3.0 and roadster 3.0. Indeed you may be able to chase higher times in the coupe, but if equally modified, they are quite similar in performance. Stiff subframe bushings help combat the rear end unpredictability along with camber/toe kits.
Man you are amazing !!!, what a review I am in shock! Is the 2.8 coupe almost as good as the 3.0 or much inférieur? What would you say ? I found a cool 2.8 in the same grey colour.. I am hesitating… 160 000 km
This channel deserves so much more attention- dare I say the best car reviews of vintage cars on RUclips
Thank you!! That means a lot. I rely heavily on ppl sharing it w/ fam and friends, so it gets around!

Yea!!! Love seeing updates on this channel!
Had the pleasure of having a Z3-MCoupe many moons ago.. what a wonderful car. Especially with Dinan charger and other goodies on it.

Incredible drifting skills in a car without a LSD.

I had the same car in black, I got new back in 2001, it’s still one of my favorite cars.
Two of my good friends have z3 3.0 roadsters one topaz blue and one steel grey metallic they got so hyped when I sent them this!

Thank you!! And they're so much more affordable to. M Coupes have gone through the roof $$
Great video thanks for your efforts
Enjoyed that! A bit too much track and skidpad, but great style of presentation, nice camera work and music
Phenomenal review! I love my Z3 Coupe! It’s definitely a #neversell car once you get your hands on one.
The z4 coupe is maybe cooler, what do you think ??
@ I think they’re cool in their own way. It’s very hard to compare them because they’re actually very different

@@micah_clemente stunt driver!
BMW has done a lot of things right over the years, except for building a vehicle that doesn't fall apart
Man you are amazing !!!, what a review I am in shock!

@@jeromef2001 thank you! Nothing wrong with the 2.8, but go for a 3.0 if you can! It's nice to have the updates, more power, better resale etc
The rear wheels and the geometry is different between the m coupe and the regular coupe. Including wider wheels and different control arms
Love the music in this video. Can someone tell me this tracklist?
i had one the diff carrier broke off from daily driving. Common problem for the z3
Z3 is a parts bin special mix between e30 rear suspension with e36 chassis design and e46 M54B30 engine
See the 9:00 mark
Definitely lots of trail breaking to keep the front end grippy for the roadster too, if you try to send it too hard, bunch of under steer
Don't forget that the steering wheel is about 20% bigger than it needs to be.
