Fascinating discussion, Dan. And yes, there are places in the USA that combine maritime heritage with new technologies and innovative design. Here in South Florida, innovation seems focused more on today's 'Bling'. Up in the Northeast but also on the Chesapeake and in our Northwest (both places worthy of you visiting), more heritage shines through.
Gday Jack! Yes I think you’re right about the North West. I intend to get over there for a look as soon as I can. Just landed in Brazil this week for more tests so should be be interesting to see what I can learn here
Really awesome video. Such a great insight to quality boat building and design. Dan. I think all your videos are awesome but this one was really top notch. Thank you for your efforts to bring us excellent and thoughtful boating information. Cheers !!
Cheers Keith! I’m enjoying travelling and learning from all the builders so glad you enjoyed that. I’m visiting factories in Brazil this week so will film some more
I’m sure you know that on your inboard models having the power cables and water service connect through the transom door is very dangerous. Accidentally stepping on those cables especially when wet can cause a nasty fall
Respect to Sabre/Back Cove and respect to you Dan for sharing this conversation
Great video Dan!
Thanks Jack! Just landed in Brazil so back in Malaysia in June. Hope to catch up then
