Over the past few months I have absolutely fallen in love with Kate's work. Why I never gave her the time of day before is completely beyond me. She is now easily one of the biggest inspirations to me and each album is pure genius. I cannot wait for the upcoming release. She is one of those true artists that are timeless and always amazing. Sadly music like hers is no longer appreciated as it should be with all these talentless wretches flooding pop culture. I adore this woman.
50 names for snow took me by surprise, I didn't expect it to be so good. I should of expected not nothing less than brilliant.

Kate Bush is in a league of her own, everything else pales in comparising. Long may she go on making beautiful music.
Kate is a genius and a painter of pictures with sound and music. I love this latest Wild Man track and almost ran to the record store to buy the album only to be told it isn't out yet. I was so gutted and now just have to wait like everyone else. Excited to see how much of the work is with Andy Fairweather-Low and what influence they have had on each other. This is so refreshing - art has come back to music and I love it! Well done Kate!
She has done it again! Kate has created a song which is deeply atmospheric and seductive, layered with meaning and emotion. This reminds me of the depth evident in Hounds of Love. I listened to this song and was instantly pulled into another realm, another world. This is such an amazing talent .
Oh jeez .... I love Kate, and I love the people that love her. Look, I like a lot of different music, but if you go to an AC/DC RUclips video and look at the comments, it's hardly going to be a philosophical seminar. Most of them can't spell, god love them. To the 43 people who don't like this song, please listen again. This is music that grows in your ears. With every new listen, you seem to hear more layers of sound. Definitely I go to the record store after 21 November. Two days later is my birth day. Can't imagine a better present than a new album made by Kate Bush. It would be fantastic if I buy "50 words for snow" when it is actually snowing. It 's also nice that the CD is in a paper box, not in a plastic one.
to those complaining about the album meandering, being too long, having no melodies: my god, listen to it more than once or twice. it's an album you have to sit with and dive into. it's so deep and beautiful. it's one of those where five years from now you'll probably hear something you never did. it's perfect for where she is right now as an artist. i've loved her since her first album, and i consider this one of her best.

Do you notice the magnificent connection between the rhythm of this song and in the rhythm of Kate Bush's typical piano playing of her songs from 1978? I loved that! I even some how recalled December Will Be Magic Again in this composition! 😎👍

Maybe one of my favorite Kate songs, but the full version of course. It's just fantastic, so mysterious. This album is underrated, it used to be my least favorite but right now I'd almost rank it before TRS and TSW!

Hey all,I've loved Kate & her music since the age of 15 and I'm 40 now. After just a couple of listens my impression is that this is a great progression from Aerial (which I loved) This is mature music people (not! old) that is multi-layered and reveals more with every mood and situation you find yourself in over time. I find that music is SUCH a personal thing- the really great stuff can show me a mirror to my life. Kate's music has been that to me,thank you Kate, looking forward to the album!

The lady does it again. Always remarkably original. Never remotely predictable. Kate is a one-off - just as there was no one like before "Wuthering Heights", there will never be any artist like her again after she has given us her last ever recorded track. And as for generating excitement ! I am just counting down the days to the release of "50 Words for Snow". :-)
yes her spirit in her music never leaves finding a spirit in modern music is extremely rare these days thank god for kate! and her spirit !
Easily one of the highlights on 50 Words For Snow. I love how mystic and moody this track sounds. And Kate's smoky vocal delivery is icing on the cake.

This is actually the first Kate Bush track I've heard and I have not stopped listen to it since a friend adviced me to go to this video. I got the album. And I'm now a fan!! The album makes me speechless!!!

l don't care what people say, l have spent the whole day listening to the new album and love every single song. It was WELL worth the wait. It's very different from anything she has done before and that's what l like about Kate's music. It's always so different. There will never be another Hounds of Love album but l wouldn't want another one like that. That wouldn't be what we fans would expect.
remember when you first heard The Red Shoes album?? l thought "what the hell??" but it grew on me.

I have followed Kate for 30+ years, her production skills and attention to detail are second to none. To suggest she cannot compose are obviously ludicrous, she has turned out some absolute classics, and continues to do so.

I love this track , I especially like the way kate takes those fantastic tibetan names and makes them rhythmic and syncopated. When I can get my head around the lyrics it will be a blast to sing along to.

Wow. I'm stunned. Bought this on the 11th, but only had time to listen to the 2 versions today. Played, played played and played some more...the arrangement and production is just sublime! I have a new love. Dame Kate's new song. This is one of the most amazing and touching songs I have ever heard! Dame Kate, you just keep getting better and better!! The first record I ever bought was 'Wuthering Heights' when I was 7...and I've loved this lady ever since. Awesome.
Just listened to this for the first time and I LOVE IT! I've been a fan since the early 80s, and I still believe that her talents are truly magical. Kate takes the listener to places they've never been before -- not just places which are comfortable and familiar -- but to places of her own creation. It's so good to have her back again.

I've fallen in love with this radio edit as well now, not only the album version. This one is more instant. I like that. Such a pure melody. It's so mad and beautiful at the same time. Bohemian? Love it. One of her best!

Thanks for posting this. "50 Words" is one of the greatest concept albums of the 21st century, IMHO.
oh my goodness..there just are not enough words to express my love for this lady, as an artist and as a person... she remains head and shoulders above the rest..just perfect.
I only just bought it. Listened 4 times. The full version is so much more. Such a different power coming from Kate now. So much more about building. Repeated listenings making the difference. She's definitely got a different magic now. I'm so happy!
This masterpiece of an album tells me that there is still hope for mankind.

So Nice to hear Kate loosen up, the live feel of Directors cut has somehow made it's way into Bush's 50WFS. Gone are the days of her love at first sight melody's. The new songs demand that you get to know them better before they put out and put out they do! "lake Tahoe" is sublime!
