    Another fantastic video
    The cinematography is brilliant
    The views at Bunda Cliffs are amazing
    Good to c a lot of other people / vehicles doing the same
    Stopping at the country towns etc, would be very helpful for these communities, via the income it generates for them.
    👍

      Thanks Stephen. We were pleased with the Bunda Cliffs section and the video. The processing of the wind affected audio wasn’t so great. It was just very windy and the wind noise in the car was pretty bad in sections as well.

      @@nextlevelozThanks David / Paula.
      I noticed the audio issues.
      When u r outside in windy conditions, that is going to happen.
      Not sure why your audio whilst driving wasn’t better, but this does NOT worry me.
      U guys r making a lot of effort to document your road trip, and then hours of editing to create these videos.
      U guys r not professional sound engineers, and u don’t have a support crew with expensive audio equipment.
      U r not keeping any RUclips income, and u could be doing other things with your time.
      If people are going to complain, if it was me, I’d tell them to get stuffed, and pls unsubscribe.
      If people r not sensible enough to understand your situation, and appreciate the content that u provide, they can go and get stuffed !
      Rant over. 🤣

      @@StephenFogarty2023 We don’t mind constructive comments and we will try to improve those elements for sure - within the limits of the equipment. As you say we aren’t trying to be professional content creators but don’t mind trying to make it all best possible either. Yes outside i agree. The background noise for the car stuff this last episode was inexplicable. It was noisier noticeably give n the winds we were during in. But let’s see what we can do. A bit limited for all the save footage to date - is what it is. But we’ve appreciated the feedback. It’s been overwhelmingly positive so no issues! thanks again . cheers

    Just wondering why you drive with the Off road setting on the Priv-pro? 8:04.

    • @nextleveloz
      @nextleveloz  Год назад

      Thanks for watching and the question. We don't normally drive with that screen. We had a lot of heavy wind on that section and that screen shows the heading as well, so its likely I'd just left it on after looking to see our heading in relation to the heavy winds. Sometimes I also look to make sure we are level and of course if off road we use it, but that wasn't the case in this episode. So it was only the incidental information in this case.

    Thanks for sharing, great insight and assistance for others planning their travels. Q- do you use your portable fire pit often? Is it worth having/buying?

    • @nextleveloz
      @nextleveloz  Год назад

      Thanks for watching and the question. We don’t use the fire pit much at all. If we had our time over, probably wouldn’t bring it. It’s a bit over 10kg total and TBH that makes it a lighter one. Most places you can have fires have fire pits or people have made some ground fires (use the existing fire spots). In some places they insist on off ground fire pits but that’s been rare and even then it depends on the fire season restrictions. So short answer No and probably not. Cheers

    I hope people know about that washout running underneath the cliff edge. It's not very thick. I wouldn't chance walking up to the very edge you just can't see where it's thinner without a drone.

    • @nextleveloz
      @nextleveloz  7 месяцев назад

      @@fragelicious Thanks for watching and the comment. Yep, lots of undercut sections there. And from time to time sections on the face break away as the cliff erodes. If you are sensible you can see down along the cliff the undercut sections so always best to assume where you are is also undercut. As you say the drone shows it really well and in our case I realised that while we were far enough back it was a significant undercroft.
      We camped about 25 meters from the edge. Paula wanted to be closer but I wouldn’t do it 😉😂🙄. (More like the other way). It never ceases to amaze me though how some people pull up and walk right to the edge and take selfies etc. Some were even balancing on loose rock piles. Most people are pretty judicious and it’s quite safe to get a wonderful view from any number of spots if approached sensibly.
      But it is also great not to have to rely on rules, restrictions,
      policing and fences and signs on these remote sections and being able to free camp on such a speccy location is brilliant - when the weather is good.
      My one regret on this vid was that I didn’t take the drone low enough to get even clearer footage of the dolphins surfing. TBH we don’t want to annoy the wildlife, but in this case it was hard to see the drone against the water when it dropped down and with big waves even the altitude reading can be misleading so I didn’t want to risk losing the drone. There is a significant updraft near the cliffs and the poor little drone was working pretty hard to keep a stable shot in any case 😉. Thanks again for the comment. Much appreciated.

    Nice video but struggled to hear you in the vehicle and with the wind

    • @nextleveloz
      @nextleveloz  Год назад +2

      Yes. It was a very (very) windy and noisy few days. No matter where we went. It didn’t render very well either. We will keep working on options to improve that, but wouldn’t have mattered what mics we used for this one. Just needed to find a quiet place for pieces to camera so
      we could cut down on the road bits I think. The bunda cliffs bit turned out well though. Thanks for watching and yes -
      agree. It’s hard when you are videoing in the moment rather than tryin to set up artificially. Cheers

    Like the video's you guys put up especially since I am a Land Rover fan from way back, but I must say your sound quality is rat Shytt there is far to much background noise both in the vehicle & outdoors coming through, maybe a mic with a wind sock might help. Otherwise good stuff.

    • @nextleveloz
      @nextleveloz  Год назад

      Thanks. Appreciate you watching. Our mic does have a wind muff. It was particularly windy and noisy but even then we weren’t happy with how the sound rendered either so working to resolve it or on cases like this we will think about voice overs. We did like the bit in Bunda Cliffs. If you didn’t see that bit in this video, check out the short video we posted separately. Thanks again - we appreciate feedback and while we aren’t aiming to be professional content creators, we do want to make them as good as we can. 😎🙏
