I wear my pearl jewelry much more than any other. Decades ago I bought a pair of simple drop pearl 14K earrings (what a fuss my ex made about that $59!), and I have worn them constantly. I also wear my pearl station necklace a lot. Pearls bring light to the face and are so feminine, I love them🙂
Same here. During Covid lockdown my husband bought me a new strand and 2 pairs or earring (post and drop). I think they brighten up my face and feel so good against my skin.
Having silver hair taupe doesn’t suit me so I just substitute light grey or white when I recreate your outfits. Just love your minimalist looks, so elegant 🌸
Hi Robyn, apologies for the late reply. Thank you for your honest opinion. I tried that light colour mix, because this is less harsh and I personally always recommend to others, but I must agree with you, the high contrast suits me better😊😘
I think the striped top/sweater, white shirt and white jeans outfit is my favorite, I absolutely love it! It looks so light and fresh for Spring and I love it with the contrasting black boots, (although I might not wear that because I’m so short and it creates a horizontal visual line). I think the striped top/sweater is perfect, no need to replace it.
Yes, I agree with you Kimberly, horizontal lines are sometimes tricky to wear. I’ve been lucky to be born on a taller side, but I also wouldn’t worry too much. If you like it, try it, people notice the outfit and how good you look in it and not the fact that you may look shorter🥰🫶
Thank you for talking about pearls. I have pearls, too. It was a present a long time ago. I love them but I neuer knew how to style them, I felt oldfashioned. You have given me new inspiration. 🙏
Hello Carmen and thank you for your comment. I understand why you felt like this about pearls. I was same until I saw a girl wearing them with some vintage leather waistcoat and jeans and it hit me😁 why not!!
I love pinks that are light, like your shirt. I keep ordering things that look like pale pink in the photos, but when they arrive, they are that obnoxious bright Barbie/Bubblegum pink. Cool, light colors are my favorites, especially white, taupe, and pale pinks, greens and blues (I have cool-toned coloring, so warm tones don’t suit me). I occasionally wear my hot pink blazer, but it’s not a major color for my wardrobe.
Absolutely agree with you about pinks on the high street, it’s very hard to find a decent colour that looks sophisticated. I do like hot pink in a form of a blazer, but on others, not so much on me😁
Hi Anna and thank you so much for your comment😊 I wear skirts in Winter (although this year I feel I didn’t that much) but I love dresses in Spring and summer😘
Another winner Mariola! Had been considering pink but was unsure of the magenta shade that has been talked about which for me is to strong . I have dark hair like yourself so the pink you demonstrated does look lovely without looking too harsh . Thanks again for more practical inspiration.
Hello Steve and apologies for late reply🤦🏻♀️ agree, pink can be hard to wear (or buy in the first place). The most important thing is to buy the shade that corresponds with your skin tone (cool or warm) and a shade you are comfortable wearing. Hopefully you can find something for yourself😊
Hello. I’m new to your channel. What a beautiful video with so much styling advice. I love the jewellery. You’ve given me some great ideas. Thank you and nice to come across your channel.
Hello Gillian and welcome to my channel😊 I’m so happy you find my content interesting and you get some inspiration from it. I hope you’ll enjoy my future videos😘
This was a great video. So many great pieces of information I can relate to. I like to dip my toe in a color also. Loved they way the brown changed the look of the pink shirt. 💞
Hello Kimberly, thank you so much for your comment and your ongoing support🥰 the trench coat is from Uniqlo, from a collaboration with JW Anderson (about 3 years ago), but you can still find it second hand😊👍
Where is the viscose turtleneck from, please? I love them because they’re so breathable and light. I used to get some at H&M, but lately they’ve added polyester to them, which I can’t wear next to my skin. Thanks!
Hello Dawn, so sorry for my late reply. These are &other stories from previous season, but I believe they have something similar atm. Thank you for your comment🙏🥰
Do you recommend chylak shoulder bag over songmont Luna ?!! I know they are two different shape, I am looking for versatile chic classy black bag, I saw you use chylak a lot with so many different outfits and I fell in love with it because of you but still can’t decide which one 🤦🏻♀️ so I want to hear your opinion pls thank you ❤
Hi Christina, Thank you so much for your sweet message and trusting me with this advice. First of all I would 150% recommend the Chylak bag, it’s my favourite and most precious bag, really worth the money. Thanks to its pattern it’s very durable and dressy enough to accessorise every outfit. You can remove the longer strap and use the bag in the evening. After 2 years it looks pretty much the same. I don’t have the Luna from Songmont, but I did hear it’s a really versatile bag. If I could compare any bag from Songmont with my Chylak it would be the Tofu bag (I have it in pearl white). Like Chylak it’s more structured and thanks to the way its edges are finished looks like it’s gonna last a long time. I think they can fit the same amount of stuff. Both bags don’t have any scratches on, but I love my Chylak more because it’s black and it has the shorter strap which makes it more classic and versatile. I could talk about them for hours, but I hope it helped a little😊 ps. Only one thing I don’t like about my Chylak: it has 2 compartments divided with a little zip pocket which I find unnessecary, because I always struggle with putting things (and taking out) in the back compartment, especially when I try to do it while wearing the bag. So I usually end up using only front compartment. let me know if you have any more questions😘
@@SlowDownInStyle Thank you so much Beautiful for your respond and thank you for being so honest and hopeful, I think I will go for chylak it’s more classy and valuable look , i feel it deserves the price tag more than Luna, I am thinking of Reset tofu too but in camel color, I actually like the zipper in the middle 😄 Thank you so much again you are so chic you deserve millions subscribers at least ❤️😘
Hi Sunny. If you’re talking about the quality of the video it’s impossible, because I record in 4K. I believe it’s a temporary thing with your internet. Maybe try another time with a better speed or change the quality of the video in settings😊
I love pearls. I too wear them with everything. Even just jeans and a t shirt! 🤍

Hello Ronnie-Lynn. You’re so right. Pearls look even better with casual jeans. It’s a nice clash and the outfit looks much more interesting😊
Love the idea of using a warm jumper as a scarf - multitasking items are the best because you dont need more space in the wardrobe!
Having silver hair taupe doesn’t suit me so I just substitute light grey or white when I recreate your outfits. Just love your minimalist looks, so elegant 🌸
Hello Kathryn. That’s a great idea. Grey is as versatile as beige and more flattering on most people. Thank you for you comment🥰
All the outfits are great, but I like the black coat with the pink. Your coloring is high contrast so the black and pink mimic that.
Hi Robyn, apologies for the late reply. Thank you for your honest opinion. I tried that light colour mix, because this is less harsh and I personally always recommend to others, but I must agree with you, the high contrast suits me better😊😘
Pink and blue blouse, and blue jumper....omg...so lovely on you!!!!! Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
Wooooow thank you so much. I can see it in the video so much better than in the mirror🙏😊
Love the grey trousers and blazer. Your style ideas are always so helpful.
Thank you so much Diane. I’m so glad you enjoy my videos. hope to see you in my next one😁🫶
