an absolute tour de france. comedy gold!
Mr Delaney you truly are a comedy genius. It was a travesty when they took off the Count Arthur Strong tv show.
How is she not cracking up? I couldnt sit opposite him and keep a straight face!
Lovely interview!
Saw him in Donny twice.Made my sides ache.Brilliant!!
Arthur could record this song as a duet with John Shuttleworth, combining the ode to Doncaster with an ode to Sheffield. Its top 10 material !
Arthur.. you never fail to not amaze! Mr MaGoo got nothing on you!!
I've been to Doncaster. It was quite.
Quite?
Or quiet?
It really was.
Harry Worth meets Hilda Baker
its just like those interviews that Spike Milligan used to do on the Q programme
Count Arthur once conducted an interview for the NNME once with the Pet Shop boys. Sadly it all ended in disaster. "They knew absolutely nothing about Tortoises or Goldfish. I'd have thought that it would be essential to at least know the price of Millet" fumed Arthur. "they had no interest at all in how you go about getting a dog licence". Time wasters, I really do.
In Doncaster. :)
Wish their was less crap on telly and more of you and your comedy on tv.
