It will be an amazing autobiography about himself that he's written by himself without the usual ghosts that all the footballers have. How many people today can claim to have personally spoken to Aristophenes or been in a bidding war between Faber, faber, faber, faber and faber, and Pan books?
Ah, an antique typewriter, now I know where all his jokes came from. I once tried to explain the joke about my dog having no nose and he said no nose well then how does he smell? But I don't think dear old Arthur ever really got it
The book, the play and now the lucrative BBC show. I understand this is co-written by Graham Lineham. Hopefully, Arthur could be just the fillip Graham needs to revive his flagging career.
