Subscribed! Always a fan of the Legendary Samm Sheperd and also of those inspired by him.
Came here following your comment on the Think Flight channel. What's the motor mount that you are using? I find it to be one of the most difficult things to make at home.

Thanks for the comment! You’re probably gonna laugh because my motor mount is literally a plastic apple juice cap with a couple holes drilled in it! I like to keep my planes as janky as I possibly can, lol! Anyway I hope that was helpful. And thanks for the subscribe!

@@ezrarichardson279 :D That just increased my respect for this channel 10x. Samm and Daniel (rctestflight) are two of my favorite creators. The former being a source some pure designs, while the latter being one for designs with some Soviet era simplicity that's hard to put into words. The plastic cap has the latter's feel to it. Will try it myself some day.
On a separate note, I often find myself making rounds on YT to fill in the hole left by Samm. Experimental airlines also used to post regularly, but of late has been dormant. FT also has some good content but has a reality TV flavor, which I do not much enjoy. Thanks for sharing! I watched your long range vid also and liked it too.

@@ShashankSawantPhD Thanks for the feedback! I've really been enjoying doing youtube recently even though I haven't had much success so far! Being able to talk to likeminded people across the world and experiment with another form of video production has been really great! But I do have a lot to learn (as you can probably tell by te slowness and lack of energy in my current videos). I need to learn how to pace my content and create my own little brand to differentiate myself from the other DIY RC plane/project channels. Anyway Thanks for the comments and I hope you enjoy my futur content!

Me too! He was an inspiration to me in the early days of my hobby journey. It's great to hear that others haven't forgotten!
