I live in East falls - Philadelphia The roman catholic church was built by donations as was two schools there. Locals purchased land and provided labor. When attendees dropped they sold the schools off and kept every cent for themselves. They rent out all of the church grounds to Jesuit priest. So now everyone is excluded . This area was famous for Grace Kelly . Allen specter & Ed Randell living here.

As a former Catholic I can attest, this is normal Catholic behavior. They don't stick up for themselves, their kids, or their own beliefs. Most Catholic churches I've glanced in on now have some Nigerian with a thick accent preaching to a room full of white americans. Very strange. It's the same old same old, When church authorities want to prevent you from exercising your First Amendment right they forget that their right to practice their religion is covered by the same 1st Amendment. It's the same old 'It's ok for me but not ok for you' mentality. So many different religious congregations have the same view of rights. Unfortunately.

Anyone raised in the Christian faith is taught great reverence for the power and authority of the church.
Too often, protecting the power and image of the church clergy is the driving rationalization for covering up their crimes against children.
Church leaders too often cover up or turn a blind eye to evidence of child sexual abuse and attempt to deal with molestation exclusively as a matter of sin and not as the serious crime it is.

Churches use to have 1 or maybe 2 services on Sunday.
Now most of them have several services now on Sunday.
Is this so that the churches can pass the plate more?
I think the two worst encounters I've seen have been Catholic. It is an embarrassment for the denomination.
