Love how you didn't use any black or dark colored eyeliner to define the eyes and kept it very soft but with good amount of mascara. And she's a PERFECT model for a soft pink, romantic look! Not that I'm trying to be romantic, but I could do this look for work as well ! Love

I actually pretty much asked the same question on another video and he was kind enough to reply. I'll paste here what he wrote :
"Body and face usually don’t have same color. I go for the in between shade or the face shade. If u don’t plan to do contour then try to match exact shade. If you do then I tend to go slightly lighter.
"
Hi, not a make-up artist, just a regular person, but I am the type who likes hassle free makeup so getting a foundation that literally melts into my skin is an absolute requirement. I also don't apply it to all of my face which goes against every single make-up video I have seen but hey, if it works, it works. Make-up should be there to enhance your natural beauty, not completely smother you (in my opinion).
Anyway, the only way I have been able to get such a close match has been by going to different make-up stands like Dior, Lancome, Estee Lauder etc and have the make-up artist match me. I never buy on the spot, but rather ask for a few samples in different shades/undertones which I then use in the span of a week to see how it looks in natural light, outdoors, indoors etc. You might never know how it truly sits/looks until you get to live in it. Also, I never go by my hand or neck. Necks especially are not the same colour as they get less sun, however if you match the undertones there will be no noticeable difference. As for hands, forget about it. My foundation shade doesn't even blend on my palm, it looks off, but on my face it is like my skin - but better.
Appreciate these are pricier brands and not cruelty free (I think), but if you want to buy lower end my advice would be to see if you can buy small samples first that you can try. And also, if you use foundation like I do you probably won't run out of it until it's close to expire. I probably buy foundation twice a year, so overall it's not a big expense.
