Minors-especially 16-year-olds-are still in formative stages of life, both mentally and emotionally. Alissa I do agree. But to many families the pill might be a controversial topic. If you know what I mean? I was raised in a very conservative home. I was taught to not have sex until I was married. As a result, it was ingrained in me and wouldn’t dare to even kiss a guy. As I received more education and went out into the world. I realized, that not all families are like mine, lol. So I agree with you, many will have sex. I personally wouldn’t mind using the pill, getting std shots such as the HPV, etc.
@Alissa When I got on my period, I didn't want to be on the pill because I didn't want to have sex and I didn't have sex. Not all teens have sex and feel comfortable on the pill. Don't force your daughter on the pill.
It would be interesting to see Where are they now. Did any of them have more out of wedlock babies? Did they ever get married? How many of the out of wedlock babies became teenage parents? Did they spend their entire lives on Welfare or ever get a education and support themselves and their children? The odds are they had several children from different fathers and never married any of them and lived on welfare for decades. Sad to see young girls play acting as women and raising children without a clue of what Motherhood really means. Most kept the babies so they would have someone to love them as they were not loved and nurtured in their childhoods.
Karen Gaddis made a interesting point. Most of these teenage girls who are pregnant do not get married and they consider marriage more serious than having a baby.🤔
It's disgusting how all these adults are complicit with the rape of children by older men. No jail time for pedophiles.. It's wrong. A lot of these girls were groomed and manipulated, leading to rape. Girls dating boys their own age are trying to fill a void. They want marriage and a baby, but they settle with the baby. If they didn't care either way, They wouldn't be in that situation. They'd still be playing with barbies..
@@sarahmyob6862 Makes you wonder why they thought it wise to reciprocate the advances of older guys and consent to being impregnated by someone who wasn't worthy of her. 🤔
Do you think any of _these_ girls were going to listen to reason? One of them even outright states that, despite sex education in schools, they're still going to do what they want. Girls like this are a _huge_ part of the problem. They think they're mature. They think they're ready. They think they know everything.
@@sarahmyob6862 Attempting to absolve the girls here is equally as disgusting. These aren't toddlers. They deserve to be held accountable for their choices. Condemning only the guys is a sexist mindset that will not lead society down the path of progression. The girls and their parents are just as accountable. If you think that it's been a one-way street of older guys going after younger girls all this time, then you are incredibly deluded. It's a fact of life that younger girls also want and chase after older guys. Listen to what the girl says when Donahue mentions sex education in schools. They're still gonna do what they want. You don't get to act like that and have a free pass just because you're a teenager.
Not just divorce but instability in the home to begin with. Things like this could still happen in good homes but we've got a better chance of it not happening if people are being raised in healthy homes with both parents.
22:18 _"Well, at school, they teach sexual education but we're gonna do what we want to do."_ This girl is telling you that she's a _huge_ part of the problem here. How many of you were listening?
Solely blaming the older guys here is not going to stop the problem. The girl is accountable. She's not a toddler. The parents are accountable, too. The problem starts in the home. Younger girls have been going after older guys for a very, very long time. That needs to stop. Parents need to be more involved. You even hear one of the girls scoff at sex education in schools. She outright says they're gonna do what they want to do, regardless of that resource.
Very poor attempt at absolving the girls of their choices. They're not toddlers and this isn't a show about rape. These girls thought they knew everything and made conscious choices to reciprocate the advances of guys older than them. They wanted a baby. It's a fact of life that young girls chase after and prefer older guys. It's not a one-way street. Condemning only the guys won't stop this. The girls and their parents need to be held accountable, too. Even with sex education in schools, the one girl still stays that they're gonna do what they want.
What about holding the girls and their parents accountable? Ever considered the fact that these girls aren't toddlers? Listen to what one of them says when Donahue mentions sex education in schools.
Phil was always such a chauvinist… dude tries to play it off as if he’s subjectively hosting but it’s clear he’s the type of guy who thinks young girls come on to old men
First of all, that is a garbage comment about Donahue. Very ignorant. I've watched many episodes and he tries very hard to be informed and objective. Secondly, unless you're very young or have been living in a cave for decades, girls have been notorious for chasing after older guys.

Trouble facing the accountability, eh? I don't care for the face that he makes but it's a damn good point. Consider the lack of logic from the first girl who answers. The guy was worthy of impregnating her but not worthy of her. Insanely moronic and self-serving answer from the girl. Then there's the second girl who answers Donahue's follow-up. She (a teenager) says the guy "seemed like a great person". Right, because she knew the guy for such a long time that she was in a position to make such a determination.
