Hey, welcome to my channel! This year, I had a great time in the Philippines, and one of the coolest things I did was visit Thelma's Sari-Sari Store in Roxas City, Capiz. You know, a lot of my subscribers run their own Sari-Sari Stores, those little neighborhood shops. I've always wondered what it's like to work in one, so I tried it out. Today, I'm sharing what I found out with you. Thelma's store is more than just a shop; it's like the heart of the community. People don't just buy stuff; they hang out, chat, and feel like part of a big family. I met Thelma, the store owner. She told me how important the store is to the neighborhood. It's where everyone knows each other, shares stories, and becomes friends. I rolled up my sleeves and did some work. I helped customers and stocked shelves, and it was a lot of fun. But the best part was meeting the friendly customers. It's not just about business; it's about making friends and connecting with people. I was blown away by the Sari-Sari Store culture. It's not just about buying stuff; it's about being part of a close-knit community. The Philippines has something really special in these little stores. As the sun set, I left Thelma's Sari-Sari Store with a new appreciation for these places and the people they bring together. Ngayong taon, nagkaroon ako ng magandang karanasan sa Pilipinas, at isa sa mga pinakamagandang bagay na ginawa ko ay ang bumisita sa Sari-Sari Store ni Thelma sa Roxas City, Capiz. Alam niyo, marami sa aking mga subscribers ang may-ari ng kanilang sariling Sari-Sari Stores, yung mga maliit na tindahan sa kalsada. Palagi akong nagtatanong sa sarili kung ano ang pakiramdam magtrabaho sa isang ganito, kaya't tinry ko. Ngayon, ibabahagi ko sa inyo ang aking natuklasan. Ang tindahan ni Thelma ay hindi lamang simpleng tindahan; ito ang puso ng komunidad. Hindi lang ito pang-shopping; dito rin nagkakasama, nag-uusap, at nagiging bahagi ng isang malaking pamilya ang mga tao. Nakilala ko si Thelma, ang may-ari ng tindahan. Ipinarating niya sa akin kung gaano kahalaga ang tindahan sa kanilang komunidad. Dito, kilala ang bawat isa, nagkukwento, at nagiging magkaibigan. Naghanda ako at nagtrabaho. I love the Sari-Sari stores here. They are perfect for when you need something little or a partial amount like 2 eggs or 1 packet of soap. Things like that where normally you'd have to buy a dozen eggs that you don't need or like me who won't eat since I don't like eggs. But I do use them in recipes like cake and bread. That's for sharing this with the world. More places need these.
