Hi all! Hope you enjoy my take on the Sakaarian Iron Man!! I tried to keep the mod simple but also effective. This does not affect the transformation in any way and you can still use what Lego has given for the car mode! Enjoy and keep on bricking!

I hadn’t looked at how the original set was designed in detail, so I nearly choked in disgust when I say the original elbows. You did a service to humanity by fixing them. Keep up the good work
i think maybe the designer was trying to keep the piece count to a certain limit haha.
A lot of Lego sets have that when given a limit to pieces sadly

I accomplished a similar build using the parts from the Iron Man mini mecha, I may have to revisit it with some of my spare parts

This Is so beautiful
That was my main issue with the Iron Monger, Sakaarian Iron Man, and the Hydra Stomper. Not just the knees but a lack of possibility and articulation in general. Sure you can move the arms but it doesn't make for good poses.

I love the update you've made. It looks good. I'm surprised the small ball joint can hold the weight of the fingers
the forearms are not really that heavy, but if it is holding weapons then yeah the small ball joints might not cut it

I legit just bought this set today and reaaaally wanted knees on him. (Especially after just coming off of the 'iron mongrel') thanks to this I know now what must be done 👍 lol

Dude is the loudest lego builder I've ever heard. He's the only one I've ever heard that snaps and clicks the pieces so loud, when build with lego its no where near as loud as him
hmm well i build in an enclosed room so the sounds get amplified. Its either that or the sound of the Tv outside haha...

Those knees really make the set way better, he kinda looked wierd at first
the original legs where too short for the top heavy build, helps with the proportions

I'm hoping that at least one Tony survives in this series, since this episode will probably be centered around him, I have faith that he will, unless he sacrifices himself.
Seeing as the watcher picked up gamers whilst tony was still kicking, I think it’s a safe assumption to make he will survive that episode.

Hey chubbybots, given that you did this suit, giving it bendable knees and arms, I was wondering if you could also show a tutorial on how to do that with the infinity war hulkbuster set, given that they are all almost similar in terms of leg wise. Hey Chubbybots i wasnt sure but when you make custom mechs do you find all the pieces and lay them out or do you find them while you build it, Also do you make a prototype of the build without all of the color and stuff?
I first build a prototype with colors that are not from the set, in that way i could track what are the additional parts used for the mod. my parts are already presorted so finding the required parts is quite fast for me

you should make the atlas destroyer or some custom pacific rim jeager
The wheels still feel super out of place, but the Leg design is so good
technically you can just remove the wheels and you have a decent hulkbuster!

I figure that Lego likes to keep the costs down on the mechs, give all of us a chance to DIY the changes, but you really remind me of an editor. You come in, assess the quality work, shake your head at how good is the enemy of great and red pen a gold star into a platinum with a few simple pieces. Well done, as always - here's hoping you do some fun alt builds, I love this color scheme!
That in itself is the beauty of buying a lego set, if i bought a standard figure / toy, it will be much more difficult to modify it. Modding Lego is much easier!
